I am currently plot resetting...I reset my entire 2nd town, and I am going on day 3 of plot resetting. I haven't gotten Flurry yet and that's my goal. Although it's starting to wear me down. What's the longest you've plot resetted for? Also have you ever just gave up and took whoever?

*Sorry if this is in the wrong place*

i know it's nowhere near as long some people have gone to, but 1 hour.

I don't have the patience to plot reset it'll drive me crazy so no longer than an hour

Longest I took was three days. Would've been longer if I hadn't gave in and accepted a half decent spot.
Now I only have the patience to go a few hours before not caring,

Longest was 7 hours,
I would just give in if after awhile and give up making them plot in the perfect spot,
I really don't have the patience and the determination to plot reset for days,
or even weeks!

Plot Resetting Map.jpg

Here's a map of every villager I've plot reset in Marzipan so far by days.
In case the numbers are hard to see, the villagers are as follows:

Diana- 1 Day
Rudy- 3 Days
Poppy- 7 Days
Peanut- 2 Days
Bones- 4 Days
Mitzi- 3 1/2 Days

I had been trying to plot Cole since the 9th. I finally gave up and settled on an okayish spot today because he refused to go near the areas I wanted him in. Granted, this is a fairly new town and I don't have any PWPs set up to block off anything yet. I hope my ne t villager doesn't take this long.

I originally started looking for Flurry because well she's my dreamie...but I want only hamsters and squirrels in my town (that's my goal) so Graham will have to do for now. I think I'll just only do it for 3-8 hours then just take who they give me and where they put them. lol

I don't have the patience to plot reset. I just move the flowers I think may be crushed and put temporary PWP in places I don't want villagers to plot.

I recently started plot resetting again. Just because I've got so much of my town sorted now that there really is only a couple of options for house placements.
When I first started though, I remember plot resetting for Erik. That took ages. And I mean like days, he would not go where I wanted. In the end I just had to give up and settle for where he is now. It's not a terrible spot but I had to work around it.

I don't think I've ever spent more than one day on plot-resetting. I'm not too picky on where my villagers move in. I also seem to be quite lucky since they often move in to a place that is very close to where I want them.

I advise anyone who doesn't want to spend too much time on plot-resetting not to be too picky on where villagers move in. One square left, right, back or down shouldn't matter too much in most cases.

When I had a cycle town, the longest I reset was 3 or 4 days for the whole town & a day or so for each new villager. I'm very picky about the layout & who moved in, since the towns were primarily for selling off the villagers.

It might be easier to find a town that doesn't have a normal starter villager & reset on the second day for Flurry.
