What is the Drawback for the Beautiful Ordinance?

So for every ordinance there's supposed to be a positive and a negative:
Early Bird: Stores open early, but they also close early
Night Owl: Stores close later, but open later
Bell Boom: Items sell for more, but items are more expensive

I still can't find the negative to the beautiful ordinance. Does anybody know what it is?

Not being able to pull weeds for your weed badge maybe, though that can also be seen as a positive thing.

there isn't much I can think of. weeds hardly grow at all, so for people who want the furniture for the weeding day set might be out of luck. you also will never get the rafflesia in your town, though it's seen more as a punishment for having a dirty town more than anything

She probably meant that compared to the Early Bird ordinancs they open late.

The detriment is lack of weeds for weeding day and your badge, and it's pmuch impossible to get gold roses.

I think its drawback is that you become dependent on it, though. Once you have tons of hybrids and a town completely full of flowers, all that watering....ugh @_@ Also just the fact that for as useful as it is, it's also NOT super useful. I'd rather keep Bell Boom on all the time, but omg that watering...

I sometimes really wish we could be rewarded with the ability to have 2 ordinances. Like if we kept a perfect town for 100 days or something. Running Bell Boom and Beautiful Town would make my life a ton easier, rather than having to constantly switch at Isabelle when I need to do Island runs @_@

Golden roses. The 3 days I took off my ordinance was a nightmare as I had to water every flower by myself just to get gold roses.

As others have mentioned, you can't get gold roses, the weeding badges, or the Weeding Day furniture.

These reasons are exactly why I have a second town.

A drawback could be that you can't take advantage of other ordinances for the early or late opening times. Also, you can't get gold roses.

I also find that villagers plant a lot of regular flowers - my town has become overrun by them!
Also yeah, I have become a bit dependant on it. I took my town off beautiful ordinance to get some gold roses and I lost a lot of flowers/hybrids because I didn't get to water every single one of them.
I got some gold roses and I haven't take the beautiful ordinance since!

Yeah, my only complaint for the Beautiful Ordinance is that I can't stop my villagers from planting like five useless flowers a day.

I took out a lot of my flowers and I'm trying to hybrid most of what I kept and every day I pick up about 5 flowers that villagers just plant. It's pretty annoying, but it's not the worst thing in the world.

The lack of gold roses doesn't bug me too much since gold roses don't fit in with my theme colors (red, pink, white, purple, blue) but it does kinda suck not having Night Owl on. I don't really mind TT'ing backwards to get into Retail and the stores but it can get kind of annoying. Oh, no Weeding Day items and what not sucks too.

golden roses, and too many flowers.. my town is overrun by flowers right now haha. but watering all the flowers in your town would be hell, beautiful town is amazing.

Technically, no ordinance truly has a disadvantage. The only disadvantage of any ordinance is the increase of prices in the Wealthy Town Ordinance, but that seems minor. It may not even be a disadvantage if you don't care about shopping at all.

For the closing earlier/opening later, Early Bird only has an impact on opening times, as well as Night Owl on closing times.

The impossibility of getting the golden badge on Beautiful Town technically isn't a disadvantage because not only it counts when you visit other towns, but there are some people who don't care about the badges at all.

The impossibility of getting golden roses isn't too much of a disadvantage either. It's only a disadvantage when you care about hybridization. I care a lot about it, but I only like tulips.

Drawbacks for me are, the fact that you can't really get the weed pulling badge. And if you're like me, I'm a completionist in this game and strive for all the badges. Another drawback is if you want to get gold roses (which is watering wilted black roses with a golden can) You would have to remove the ordinance to do that. And I have flowers absolutely alllll over my town, and removing the ordinance would mean having to water all of the wilted ones, which is just inconvenient.
