I feel like I'm out of the loop a bit as I don't know what the current state of the amiibo glitches are. From what I know people are still experiencing glitches relating to adopting villagers forced out by amiibo. But I haven't seen a clear answer regarding moving villagers into your island. Are there any glitches around moving amiibo villagers in at the moment? I'm getting impatient and want to move some of my favourites in. Thanks in advance for any answers!

They did fix the glitch, but it unfortunately introduced a new glitch in its place. Soem bizarre actions cause the villager to move in no issue, but they move in and the game thinks they've moved out and never really go away.

It's basically the same as the previous glitch, but they actually move in this time. Sort of.

For the most part, it's sort of safe to adopt villagers, but you're still 'at risk.'

They "fixed" it and then broke it again, but now it's worse than before. It doesn't just affect amiibo move outs this time either.

If you have amiibo cards of your dreamies you can still safely use them to move in your favorites. However, you should avoid visiting anyone or being visited by anyone if you move out villagers, as friends might pick up a villager from your void and have their games get bugged/glitched as a result.

I've adopted 3 villagers from others so far and none of them are glitched. I don't think it's as common as most people are saying it is, but the glitch does still exist in a new form and it really needs to be patched.

Well, I did experience one. Trying to move in Phoebe today (third day, third item given) she got stuck in an endless loop of three dialogues, possibly because I left to set up a new plot for her to move in to, then, after setting up the plot returned to ask her to move in.

Saving and ending, then reloading fixed the issue at least, and she'll be my tenth villager tomorrow

I just amiibo invited a villager to my town. I hope my town doesn’t screw up others that have ten villagers.

The current glitch only really seems to effect villager's being adopted from other islands. I've seen maybe one thread of it mentioning amiibo or something.

Oh right! That seems alright. There are some weird glitches going around though. Like I adopted a glitched villager, everything was normal about them except their house. They moved into my island fine. I also picked up a villager from that persons void, who moved in a few days later. The weird thing was that Isabelle didn't even recognise them as a new villager, and they were never in boxes when they moved in lol

The current glitch is basically. You invite a villager from another town and when you try to go into their house it will say "I've moved out." But the house wont go away. Sometimes you will adopt a villager and the villager will be okay and you might even see them walking around normally, but after a few days they will become glitched. I'm a discord server with I think 100k members and it's been reported that this glitch is happening even with villagers that were adopted after moving out naturally. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
