What is one thing you wish you could do with your villagers?

I wish they could give me their tasty food they eat and drink. The uchis always talk about their wild food recipe ideas and it'd be cool if they gave me a slice of their spice cake they made. Like the whole neighborly pie thing.

With the Nook phone, I wish we could call and invite villagers to do activities with us - fish, catch bugs, go stargazing, hide and seek, hang out at my house. I would also love to see the return of group aerobics! Maybe like.. Saturdays from 8am to 10am, then KK can appear in the plaza at noon ^^

I wish I could take one villager with me when traveling to someone else's island. I think it would be so cool to see how they react to another person's island and their villagers!

I’d just love for them to request stuff again - come visit me, or ask me to play hide-and-seek, or ask me to run an errand. The new ones are less needy and I’m not here for it tbh.

I wish there were like minigames you could do with them, like cook something together or have a fishing competition between the two of you, etc.

Villager dialogue and everything sucks in ACNH. you can't deny the reason people play the game, and come back to it, is because of the villagers. but they removed so many features! you used to be able to choose hangout times with them, and give more specific answers to questions, while in NH you get two options to reply.
they also talk about HHA all weekend long. WHY?!

Interact with objects for sure but also hide and seek would be a cute return and others games idk.
Something else though I wish villagers houses were maybe a bit bland and they had their own wishlists and we have to trade to get items they want so it’s a task but as you fulfil their wishlists for their dream house (both interior and exterior) this helps with friendship too!

I would like to hug my villagers too. It would be cool if the reactions actually caused certain conversations like the crying one would make villagers ask what's wrong or maybe treat you to something to make you feel better. Maybe that would be too complicated but it would make me feel more connected to them and make me feel like I matter to them.

I didn’t come up with this but saw it somewhere - if you carry a cushion or zen cushion with you you can sit on that and it gets you much closer to ‘sitting with’ your villagers when they sit on the ground. I know it is still not quite the same, but it does make for better pictures! (I still find as soon as I turn on my camera app they seem to get up and leave though...

I agree about hugging them. There are things they sometimes do that are so adorable that I just want to hug them. Also more dialogue for them. Sometimes they get repetitive. And I’m a bit over them asking about people that traded with who they never even interacted with lol.

Singing with them, actual singing and not just the singing reaction, would be fun! I love it when my villagers sing as a group, it's so cute.

If you carry around a cushion in your pocket, you can place it on the ground next to where your villagers are sitting and sit next to them. One night Lolly was sitting by the river. I sat down next to her and she stayed there the whole time (sometimes they get up of course, but this time she kept sitting). At one point she got up to reposition herself and sat more angled toward me, which was adorable. haha

sadly cant do that if they are in the plaza . Fuchsia was singing in mine tonight and some of the others came and sat down to listen, wish I could of joined.
