What is one feature from the previous games you'd like to see return?

I personally liked the city layout in city folk more than main street in new leaf but the store options are better in new leaf

the marquee in cf and also the fountain with Serena in where you throw your axe and she can give you a golden one.

I liked how in CF the town was in two levels. I also liked how big the towns were in CF. I would also like to see more of a difference between villager personalities. They are all so similar in NL, and it just doesn't have the same flair. I liked how some were nice and some were not as nice until you friended them.

I miss the town being two levels, I miss random balls appearing, I miss how crankies and snooties were actually mean, and I miss the layout of the city in city folk.

I have never played any of the previous games... But I did learn of a feature in Wild World known as constellations. Celeste ran this observatory that would let you draw lines between stars ithere, and these connections show up visibly in the real night sky.

I can just imagine how awesome this could be in HD! 'O_O'

The dump site in the original Animal Crossing, also bringing back the random balls you could kick around in town

I'd probably like to see the favour option for villagers that was in GameCube, where you could literally ask to do a favour instead of waiting for one to come around. I'd also like the constellations feature in wild world to come back. I never utilized it as much as I should have in my early days of playing wild world, but I did like chilling out with Celeste in there when everyone was asleep. The music was calming. Once I knew what it did, I loved trying to make constellations out of anything I could think of. Even though I never had the chance to meet Serena since I never really touched my city folk copy let alone had enough bells to fund what was needed to unlock her, I did look her up and I thought she was such a neat addition. She has a really nice design too and I really wish they added her to the fountains you can get in new leaf.

Really I just want the whole vibe of feeling like you live in a small village in the middle of nowhere to come back.

Towns with different levels like in gamecube
15 villagers.
The big lotus from game cube.

- - - Post Merge - - -

And the dump, I loved rooting through the dump.

I'm gonna name a few instead of just one because I agree with a lot of people here and there's way too many for just one XD
15 Villagers
2 or 3 levels (Gamecube you could get three levels, I have a three level :3)
The City,
Gracie series and clothing being able to be bought all in one go instead of 15,
Wishing Well/Fountain from GCN,
NES Games,
Cheat Codes,
Being able to visit and name your own island and have one villager living there,
Love/hate relationship with the raffle tickets and Raffle Days,

That's all I can think of ^-^

When City Folk came out it was awesome that you could actually TALK to the people who visited your town. I hate typing things out on the DS. Wouldn't it be awesome if the speaker/microphone actually worked the same way on the DS as it did in City Folk? Maybe if they have a new version for Switch this feature will return.

I never actually played the GC version but the aerobics and the balls looked cool. I also feel like the villagers used to be a little more direct and less sugary-sweet.
