What is it with crankies and their dharmas?

I don't know if this is just my luck, but I've had three towns, and the cranky I'm the closest to entrusts me with their dharma.

I get a random letter from them. They as me to 'take care of this little guy', with the dharma attached. First Walt, then Fang, and now Gaston.

Is it a common theme with crankies, or is it just me? I have a feeling it is, lol.

Nope, it's not just you. I have gotten the same letters with dharmas from Monty and Grizzly. I didn't realize it was such a common occurrence, though.
