what inspired your acnl house??

i am so bad at decorating my mayors house like i have so many ideas i just have no idea what or how to put the furniture together?? like my whole town is filled w furniture i wanna use but don't know how
i go on tumblr a lot for ideas & visit dream addresses but i can't just copy their rooms lol this is lowkey stressing me out and it shouldn't be
dream addresses & pictures would be helpful

A couple of my rooms are inspired by some I've seen on tumblr. I don't copy theirs exactly, but I will have some of the same items just arranged differently!!

I don't really have any inspirations right now, but I'm pretty much just going with whatever furniture I really like. I'll probably eventually go with something that includes Asian themes and food.

Most of my rooms are my original designs (as much as they can be in this game) but my kitchen and bathroom designs were inspired by pics I saw on tumblr/pinterest. When I'm designing a room I love looking at pics from those sites to give myself some idea of whether or not an idea is worth pursuing.

I think that, for me, what I have a hard time with is putting stuff together in a large room. :(

I don't like "regular" rooms so I think that's also part of the problem... :|

I like to mix and match pieces and wall and flooring. My Joy town has the new dream update if you want to check it out. I also like using patterns on my furniture.

My basement is a themed room, at the moment its Mermaid themed but I'm planning on making it Sanrio themed...
