What if we could create our animal player in a future update?

In Animal Crossing we usually create a human character and add basic traits and the gender.

So, what if we had the option to create an animal player in a new update?

Of course, there are many species to choose, but I would love to create animal players based in the species cat, rabbit, koala, ducks and dogs if only them were available.

It would be awesome if I could create an animal player who looked like Babs Bunny from Tiny Toon adventures.

I was really disappointed that I couldn't be a cat when I first got the game... but If an update came where I could, I wouldn't be able to change my already human character so...

Those who had space for a player villager could make a regular playable animal villager though.

i think it would be interesting but i don't know if i'd like it as much.
not to mention that would be a ton of customization to enter and design your character.

i think i'd much rather have just had more human character customization options, i'm really upset that i can't pick my skin color right off the bat and i'd love more hair / eye options for my mayors and villagers.

i think having animal ears would be cute as hats and stuff (some are already there like bear and bunny hats) but i think being the only human's in town is kinda cute in it's own way.

I dont mind being a human character, but playing as an animal could be really fun! I think I'd have a hard time choosing a specie though.

i imagine if nintendo did this it'd be an amiibo card scanning deal where you can play as certain preexisting villagers and dress them up the way you can in hhd. itd be cool but idk if id enjoy it as much
