Been about three months (Early-Mid July) since I've logged in and played the game. I feel as if I have missed quite a bit. Anyone mind catching me up? There any drastic changes to villager popularity or currency system?

The good news about Animal Crossing is that it isn't an MMO, so basic gameplay will never be changed. Bells will always be bells. The basic gameplay on how you befriend villagers won't change.

We can grow pumpkins now. Halloween is coming up so we can buy candy and Halloween costumes. You can find a pirate Gulliver and buy a wetsuit to dive for sea creatures.
