What has happened to your town?

So today was a boring day for me and then I suddenly got the urge to play New leaf.

Can I just say not a lot of change went by unless you count Julian moving out, the messy hair, missed out my b-day in the game (that's the only thing that bummed me out) and all the weeds that popped out (luckily, I left my town on the Beautiful Ordiance).

I think haven't played the game since about the end of May... I say that was plenty of time to have gone by and have like 5 villagers move out and get new ones in but ehh, I'm not complaining.

So I was just thinking who else hasn't played New Leaf in a while and then played it and had minor changes? What were the changes? And how long was it that you didn't play New Leaf?

*Sorry for this irrelevant thread but I was wondering about other people's experience on this*

Since I need tons of bells right now I'll tell you a quick story

Also That's one of the things I hate about Animal Crossing. It's so addictive and fun for maybe a few months and then I put it down for so long, villagers move out, I've missed so many events, & I don't even know where to start anymore. I put my game down for a bout 2 months, came back, found one of my villagers gone, so I set out to look for a new villager. As for the rest, it's pretty much the same as I'd normally do; go to main streets, dig out fossils, etc. Re-befriending villagers takes a while though. It sucks so I decided to reset, start a new. But that didn't stop me from resetting again, this forum is the only thing keeping acnl brand new. I finally had a town with more than half my dream villagers in it, plenty of hybrids, pretty paths and tons of rare DLCs until my baby brother reset my town. I literally cried. But now everything seems okay for me

"Don't forget to change your ordinance to keep your town beautiful if you haven't done it already before you take a long break." Is the stupid thing I didn't know. Humph -_-

I think I stopped playing for like 4 days and Muffy -an important dream villager- was in boxes >:c Like geez, she literally just moved in a week ago! I gave you Retail colored Rococo furniture! -cries forever-
