What happens when you use an Amiibo card?

So if you already have 10 villagers in your town, and you use an Amiibo card to invite another villager in, do they let you choose which villager you want to move out? Also, will that villager be in boxes first?

Yes, they'll go into boxes immediately on the day as soon as you kick them out.

Yep! When you tell Wisp to kick them out, they will immediately be in boxes, and then they'll move the next day.
