What happens when you sync your HHD to acnl?

i synced it earlier, and i got a letter from lottie, but im not what else happens? Anyone know? Thanks!!

A new category in the Catalog is unlocked with the 20 giant items to order from HHD. Btw it costs Bells and not MEOW tickets.
