What happens when you leave?

When your mayor leaves for someone else's town or visits the island, what do you think the villagers do? Like would they throw like a huge party or like fight each other or what? Or do they just like not even notice you're missing? Maybe they do things that puts your mind in the gutter big time? I want to know what you think

I think they just do the usual... gossiping, bug catching, fishing, watering flowers, chilling on tree stumps

They probably get together and gossip about us. How else would that horrible Bell-pincher rumour have gotten started?

Isabelle keeps them in shape.

They walk around and plant awful flowers all over the town.

At least, that's what mine do.

Isabelle probably tortures them in a little shack somewhere :/

All my villagers in Celadon are probably panicked that their mayor is always disappearing, I could imagine them conspiring behind my back to make Isabelle the new mayor whenever I'm away. x) They probably just do regular villager things in the meantime, though.

The villagers mention that they've had dreams where Isabelle is mean to them. So I can see them do all of chores to work off their debt to Nook and for their land taxes. Yuka told me to spend her tax dollars wisely when I put in a PWP one day.

Another thing I think they might be doing is playing cards and Isabelle yells at them to get in place when I start the game.
On the days I get a early move out ping I think they're hoping I quit early so they can get back to the card game.

Just their usual business I suppose, dogs playing poker, the rest of them wandering around aimlessly, maybe they go in a shop and never buy anything? Just another day for any Animal Crossing villager.

I gues we found out where the term "party animal" comes from.
