What game should I base my town on?

So, I'm creating a town where it's based on a game. Any suggestions?

Yea I loved that one too! I can't make it though because you need more than 1 villager to store all the designs it requires but it's so awesome and has so many ways you could go with it.

A friend of mine was working on a "Mouse Trap" themed town, but he quit playing ACNL when ORAS came out (R.I.P.). He had made some patterns and was accumulating mouse villagers. I would have loved to see it complete.

I know you're probably looking for video games, but I considered doing a candyland theme a while back.

As far as video games go, I personally would do Dragon quest or Harvert moon.
