What game have you been obsessed with recently?

Mine rn are two VERY polar opposites:
Sticky Business (A sticker making game where you run a lil online shop, very cozy)
AND Baldur's Gate 3. I cannot stop playing it, I have so many different runs going rn its STOOPID, one for playing alone, one for playing in a group with friends, one for playing with my partner.

My brother showed me Planet Zoo recently, and I have so much nostalgia for Zoo Tycoon and am dazzled by the lovely graphics and newer features, that I just really want to play it. I don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to it, so I’m just enjoying watching him play when I visit instead. But I get pretty excited to do just that. c:

I was obsessed with Tears of the Kingdom for a long time but now I’m obsessed with Pikmin 4!!! Honestly it hit all the marks for a pikmin game for me and I love my little pink rescue girl 🥹

otherwise I’m always on and off playing FFXIV when I’m not too absorbed into another game

Nier Automata! I finished playing it recently and was so upset, I wish it was longer, top 5 of all time 100%

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Switch edition, I don't have any other [newer] consoles or a PC😭)

I've been playing it almost every day for over a year straight. I love open world fantasy. Then AE DLC came to the Switch a couple months ago and it drew me in even more. I still haven't done everything there is to do, but I'm slowly chipping away at it at my own pace. Some things are tedious to redo and some are very fun to play again.

Diablo 3 on Switch. It doesn’t have all the fancy graphical effects as more powerful systems, but it plays great and is a ton of fun. I’m playing as a Monk and using a mix of physical skills and healing magic.

Also hooked on Dave The Diver. Catching fish underwater and then running a sushi restaurant is super addicting. I was bummed to find out this gameplay cycle is only for a part of the game, but I’m still looking forward to the part where the game focuses more on bosses.

Ace Attorney Trilogy
I got my steam copy running on my macbook with the whiskey app and now all I want to do is play that, I'm probably gonna be on an ace attorney kick for the next several months

I have been playing Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. I am almost done with it. I picked it up 2 days ago LOL I love how creative and strategic the dungeons are.

I’m obsessed with Pokemon right now; I’ve been playing Violet and I’m thinking of getting Sword or Shield soon and the dlc (even though I haven’t finished the dlc yet in Violet). I might see if I can get a sub to Pokemon home too seeing it isn’t that expensive. Even though the game quality isn’t as good as it was back in Pokemon Red-Diamond days, I still am having fun collecting pokemon, shiny hunting - something I didn’t know how to do in the older games.

I was also back into ACNH again but I can’t focus on more than one game so I put both my main and second island on hold for now. I really wish I could focus on more than one thing (not just games) more but my focus has been on the decline for years. Haven’t found anything that could help without affecting my other issues or sleep.

I’m hoping that once Wriothesley has his rerun banner, I’ll be back into Genshin too. I had some terrible customer support from hoyolab that made me lose motivation to play both HSR and Genshin. I still love Genshin, but I need another big push. Once he does, I think I want to see if a couple friends want to do coop (I’ve been nervous since coop usually isn’t my cup of tea, also I don’t consider myself good at Genshin; I’m worried I’ll annoy my friends if I die a lot or make a lot of dumb mistakes and repeatedly 😅).

Still Transport Fever, or rather its sequel Transport Fever 2! It's one of those games where I tell myself I'm only going to play for a half hour to fix one thing or add another thing, and next thing I know I've been playing 3 hours... But in addition to this, I've also been super obsessed with Indigo Park, more specifically the player's guide Rambley the Raccoon who is currently my PFP. The game is very short right now since it's just the first chapter, but I found it to be great fun and well written with excellent location design, and the characters are so well made. Rambley basically became a favorite of mine from his very first spoken line!

Metroid Dread. I've been trying to collect all the items before the final boss but DAMN are some of them a doozy to get! Anyways, I'm taking a break now though 'cause my current Switch controller is basically dead. Gotta replace it.

Fire Emblem: Awakening

I’m actually replaying it for the second time. I forget how easily I get suckered into that game, trying to grind different classes and the support convos. It’s super easy to play on the train or in a waiting area or with a video in the bg.

It was Bugsnax for like a week and now I'm back to not feeling like touching my Switch. I need to go back and try to 100% complete it, but my health keeps getting in the way...
