What Furniture or furniture capabilities do you wish existed in the game?

I wish there was a staircase you place inside the room. Also, I wish we could hang furniture from the ceiling like in HHD. Or that we could move and customize the windows more! Wouldn't that by cool?

I wish it was possible to place items on all chairs. Imagine how cute it would be if we could place teddy bears on chairs! I've also tried to place stuff on shell stools to my sadness.

I wish we could stack items 3 high in some circumstances. Considering we can place small items on top of some really tall items it would sort of fill the same amount of space if we could stack certain things 3 tall.

For example: a mini fridge with a microwave on top with scattered papers on top would give me college dorm vibes

I really want them to implement the ceiling furniture that they had in HHD. I was disappointed and surprised that they didn't put it in NH right off the bat

It's also a bit weird how some furniture (like the refrigerator and vending machines) can have an item on top of it, but some furniture like the cute wardrobe can't?? It's annoyingly inconsistent.

ALSO it would be cool if we could put rugs outside

I wish the Summer Shell series had more furniture than just walls and floors, I want a light up shell garland, a couch, chairs, rugs actual end tables...ya know stuff that you would actually find in a house

I wish we can have more custom design slots and be able to use them more with all items not just some.

I'm still hoping they'll add all of the HHD furniture features to NH. Maybe they could make it like the WA update and have Lottie come and teach you how to make some ceiling decorations, as well as having Nook come up with some renovation options, like adding the extra storage everyone wants, demolishing rooms, and changing the dimensions of rooms. Doors would also be great.

i just want to be able to customize all the furniture that is locked to one color rn it’s ridiculous how they’ve done it haha

also i want to be able to place furniture outside like how i place it inside - how we have the happy home designer mode thingy for our houses. there would have to be limitations for the camera in this mode ofc but man would it make my life easier sometimes haha

I would like to have a staircase or something to create a slightly raised level in my house as well. Being able to chose where windows go and what they look like would be great too!

I'd also love ceiling items. And like I've mentioned before pleeeasseee let me customise the painfully plain antique bed! And bring Cyrus back to change the colour of our Nook's Cranny furniture pleeease it's so easy Nintendo.

Also this is probably just me but sometimes I wish the furniture was bigger since our character's heads are so huge it kind of looks like they're hanging out in a doll house LOL

Mannequins like they have at the Able Sisters' shop. We could dress them up and place them in parts in our islands we want to look more populated. It would be great if they looked like your character, and you could customize how they look. I need vendors for my market stalls!
