what food should we get for a type 2 hurricane???

shouts out to NORTH CAROLINA bby!

water, milk, canned goods (green beans, pinto beans, peaches, chili, soups, whatever), bread.

Honestly in harsh conditions I stick strictly to canned foods but that's just me... I usually keep about 3 months worth of canned food in case of emergency situations.

Ok Ty! Adding to my list we like can foods

I'd say non perishables and things that don't require electricity to be eaten. Also bottled water just in case.

We got tuna olives <green> chips bread, jolly each need crackers water lots o stuff ^^ battery's a min batter powered fan for me= and a 24 pack of perina kitten chow and the dry bag of it! ^^ They are 1 years old but that's all they eat..
Flashlights; :3 wish me luck :( I hate storms !

Also we're gettin' nasty storms cause of that thing here in the upstate.

If you're using your house as your shelter board up your windows, trim your tree branches, and get a radio. TV isn't a likely option since let's face it, it's a hurricane, hurricanes produce winds, and winds mean downed power lines. Radio means communication.

Edit: As food the food issues, fresh fruit and stuff that spoils quick or needs refrigeration are no-nos. Canned food, crackers, peanut butter, and stuff that has a long shelf life is the way to go.

Don't ask me how I know all of this stuff. I have my ways.

Stay safe, and I hope you'll be all right. The worst we have here are dust storms and an occasional flash flood, so i don't think I can help you much!

Food: Water bottles (plastic, canned foods, anything that doesnt require heating up (maybe chips??? Never been in the middle of a hurricane)

Misc.: Cards or board games (to keep you occupied), flashlight+extra batteries (same for radio) and a hand fan

Hoped this helped!

It seems that some people don't know about Google. It's this thing that looks things up on the internet and can help answer your questions. You should try it sometime.
