What flower do you use the most?

I don't know about you all, but I suck at combining/arranging flowers. So I try to limit the types and colors of flowers on my island in hopes that the less is more.

It got me thinking, do you have a go to flower? A flower you find that you use everywhere? A flower you use the most?

I have certian colors of: hyacinths windflowers and mums. Thinking about swapping or incorporating cosmos.

Tips on flower arranging greatly appreciated.

I try and keep up a variety by having clusters of flowers spread around. For instance, my festival area has some tulips by it. The cliff behind Vic's home has mums. My forest is overgrown with pansies (my native flower). My shopping area has red and white roses. And so on (my DA is in my signature, if you want to see).

TBH, I'm not the best at mixing flowers, but I think my method works pretty well!

I use a bit of each flower. I have my island decorated differently by area so I use a different breed of flower in each area.

My main area (with Resident Services and the Airport) is the largest but I chose to use Tulips there as that was my island's starting flower when I first started the game.

I'm very partial to red and white cosmos, and I'd say overall I have a *lot* of hyacinths across my island because I just love them, although pansies are growing on me atm. I have most flower types somewhere on my island! my least used are probably black flowers just because they don't fit in as much with the general vibe of my island

I'm tired of them overrunning my town though after every snow/rain fall. It's demotivating. I'm in the process of reterraforming my island, and when I finish, I will try to use as few flowers as possible

I stick by what I enjoyed in NL, which was mixing/matching colors AND breeds.
I really don't like having all one breed in an area. Same color is okay, but mixing colors is definitely nice too.
I only just started playing around with laying out flowers, since I started getting enough "stock". I'm still missing some of the flowers I want to use though.

I really love green mums. The color is just so neutral and pretty.
I also love white anything - again, the color being neutral makes it very useful.
Generically, I am a big fan of the Hyacinth! I have very few since it's not my native or sister flower, but I'm working on getting more. I also love mums and cosmos (cosmos are just SO CUTE and mums look like weeds and I'm All About That Look).
Windflowers and pansies are probably my least favorite? Idk the windflowers just look kind of off to me (blue is great though) and the pansies are just really dark in general.

I started with tulips, which I'm also not a huge fan of. I think they look good in moderation.

oooh, i have wondered this about others' islands as well! i had a hunch hyacinths would be the most popular...

i (sort of obsessively) try to have a decent spread of every type of flower on my island, and anything nonpath is pretty stuffed with them. i'm pickier about the colors, and i swap them out for seasons... so like four times a year i'm dumping a ton of hours into the game buying, selling, planting, and relocating flowers.

I make vague attempts at organising flowers got rid of most and now finished a flower garden with black/gold roses. The rest is a large area with purple hyacinths windflowers and pansies. I love purple so just a semi disorganised display of my favourite colour

I try and have a variety of flowers around my island, I have decorated the yard of each villagers house with a different flower and a terraformed area behind resident services has a flower field with every flower in the game (except a gold rose as it just didn't fit well enough into it). Overall roses are probably the most frequent flower on my island as they cover a lot of the entrance area but they have breaded a bit out of control now so I'll be digging a lot of them up soon.

The mums and the lilies are my favourite flower types though, I really like every colour variety of these two and think they look really nice around the island.

I love the hyacinths! They’re my favourite flower in the game and I probably have the most of them.

Well, maybe I have more tulips but that’s because I’ve given up on that section of my island and I’m letting them do their own thing. For purposefully places flowers it’s hyacinths! I have a little flower bed of them by my town plaza, some purple ones growing alongside my little cafe, around my diner I have some more there and then in my little cliff area I have them there, too!

I also like windflowers, and they’re my native ones. I’m debating on growing some different colours and using them more, too! I also love lilies and have a little flower bed dedicated to them as well

I was sticking hyacinths everywhere that looked empty and I'm trying to use a better variety. I try to keep three of each flower that I've grown somewhere on my island (for diys, etc) so I have 2 rainbow flower beds. I've been using white flowers a lot because they just go with everything, especially the cosmos. Flowers make me so crazy in this game. I want it to look natural but I love the unique colors too.

i have quite a lot of each flower but i think my most used flowes are pink & orange roses and hyacinths
they're very common hybrids but also my favourites

since my theme is cherry-blossom, i like to use a lot of pink flowers then i have some tropical areas so i got loads of orange flowers to plant there

i also have quite a lot of green mums, blue roses, gold roses, orange pansies and purple hyacinths just everywhere lol
maybe my most used flowers are green mums

I have all flower types on my island. I have 6 of each color except hyacinths. Those are abundantly scattered on my beaches.

i use white white windflowers and white mums. literally the only ones i use lol. i actually like mums a lot in every color since they tend to be more muted than the other flowers. ex) the white mum is more of a cream and the pink mum is a very delicate baby pink.
