If you’re in the northern hemisphere fall is next month. That has the best materials and furniture themes IMO. I’m planning on taking my NH character to shake trees over and over so I can have scenery for my SH island (it’s VERY woodsy).I need inspiration please ? Lockdown played like crazy and such fun.
Now back at work, friends losing interest, nothing much happening. Do I give up until Christmas/next update ?![]()
Already bought mush trees which look amazing. Island still wip but losing inspirationIf you’re in the northern hemisphere fall is next month. That has the best materials and furniture themes IMO. No, feel a fraud as havent TT’d, got lots of nice stuff from friends thoughAre you in the TT crowd, or no?
That sounds excitingI find myself fluctuating between boredom (because I wish my friends played as ~seriously as I do) and then suddenly having an idea to decorate or terraform. Right now I'm working on a secret dream area and I want to add more waterfalls to my town. It's a weird mix of excitement to work on those projects and like forcing my brain to do it. love this game![]()
I’ve actually gotten a ton of falls items already but I like them so much Im going for even more! No, feel a fraud as havent TT’d, got lots of nice stuff from friends though![]()
I think ur rightI feel you. I've been playing since the game came out but I'm losing interest in playing lately. Think it might be best to take a break for a bit and then come back refreshed![]()
Very sensible. I am sad as I haven’t got any photos yetI've hit a stagnant point in terms of decoration so I'm taking the time to focus more on my villagers and it's quite nice! I've been cycling through them a bit and have gotten a few more photos. although for the most part I've taken a bit of a step back so I don't completely burn out
I guess I miss the nice simple things too. Haven’t done turnips in a while (stressful and now don’t need money). Seeing nice islands on flyover is funWhen I see Isabelle start to say the words "We have a visitor at our campsite..."
This is the first week I haven't bought any turnips, and I feel like I have a little less to do, flying out to islands to sell them, getting to see other people and their islands was a lot of fun. I suppose there are other reasons to do that though, so maybe I should try some of those some time.
Oh, okay. I don't TT either. Just curious if that's why you may be burned out.No, feel a fraud as havent TT’d, got lots of nice stuff from friends though

Nice idea, tyI've definitely scaled back on how much/long I play, since it's easy to get burned out. I'd maybe just do dailies for a bit, checking in with the villagers, and taking it easy. As others have said, another update is coming for fall, and there will be things to do there.
I'm starting to think about "winterizing" my island - taking down summer displays like my surf shop and shark spotting station. I'll also change things around in my house, so that might be something to think about. Then when you come back, you'll have fresh ideas to give your island a bit of a facelift.
I have been tempted to TT to winter as I love winterMight be a controversial opinion, but...
I didn't TT until last month, after my island was pretty much done, and I was playing a lot less and losing interest. I'm in the SH and was so tired of winter and of the looks of my snowy island (very few bugs and fish to catch). I know that once I get back to my post quarantine normal life I won't be playing much, so I moved to another season since I have free time now, and I'm playing a lot more.
Other things that get me excited are island hopping and moving new wanted villagers in, getting to know them and gifting them clothing, and I also started a 2nd and 3rd characters so I could decorate 2 more houses (made a hotel and diner).
I played pocket camp from the beginning and am on level 184Maybe not the answer you're looking for, but I've really gotten into Pocket Camp recently!
It definitely has a learning curve and may not be for everyone.
