What do your villagers give you?

Friga gave me a throne?

Thrones and other expensive goods tend to mean they have a very high friendship with you. I got a lunar lander from Fang the other day. I wish I had pockets like that.

So being able to receive the throne is higher than the villager pic, no?

Now I'm contemplating if I should keep her or not >:3

I've had this game a week and Roald has been showering me with gifts.

My first day he gave me a stenograph with a compliment on my trim calves. My third day he asked if he could come over to my place for the next stage in our bonding process, spent half the time pointing out that there was nothing on my walls and if I was having trouble reaching a certain height I could ask him for help, then my fourth day he sent me a paper lantern for my walls in the mail. Today he gave me a crushed ice maker for being a "super duper nice person", and a heart tee-shirt in exchange for a butterfly. He's also told me how to use the camera 'so I can see his perfectly sculpted body any time I want' and begged for the privilege of calling me L Bear, apparently under the impression this was a nickname I reserved for close friends.

I haven't had this game long so forgive me if this is a silly newbie question, but is it normal to think a villager has a major crush on your mayoress? The other villagers have been nice and giving me the occasional present, but not to the extent of that penguin...

Plus Julian's pinged me 3 times in a row about being snazztastically generous and he gave me a bunch of stuff I just sold.

I've gotton 2 thrones from Ankha, it's actually fitting considering she's Egyptian.

For some strange reason my villagers keep giving me shaved ice-makers...

The rest are clothes that I deem ugly/unneccesary and I sell to re-tail. I really only need 2 sets of clothes I like (1 in closet) and the occasional set when it's a special occasion/holiday (ex. Santa suit on toy day).

(1 is the highest and 4 is the lowest)
1. Their picture
2. Items you do not have/not yet catalogued
3. Items you already have/wallpaper/flooring
4. Clothing

Oh please Pietro gave me a toilet and then Francine wanted to buy it off of me.
