What do you write in your letters?

Since resetting, I've actually been writing letters to my villagers on a daily basis. I've been using them as a diary, I guess, and basically writing as if I'm telling a friend what I've done that day. It helps me collect my thoughts, and I'm hoping if my villagers show me their letters in the future, it'll remind me of something I've done.

What do you write in your villagers letters?

i welcome them to town if they're new, i write apology letters if i did something wrong (usually forgetting to do a task), most often i'll find something that looks good in their home and send a letter with it.

i've made a human villager for the purpose of using as a diary (and also for holding paths)

I don't usually write much in my villagers' letters, most of the time it's just something simple like "Hi, how are you?" Sometimes if I'm feeling bored, I might write something on the lines of asking how they're doing, or if they'd like this or that gift (which I attach), or if they've seen what I've done in a certain part of my town.

Fauna and me and pen pals, I write to her all the time...

if she moved out I think I would cry...I love her so much she is so cute ;-;

tho I swear she has a crush on my mayor...

We mostly just talk about books,reading and writing...because we are nerds

i usually write a bunch of random nonsense to be honest, lol. i'll write a welcome message if it's the first letter i've ever written to that villager, but otherwise it's just the same one or two lines and i attach fruit or a present to it.​

Depends on the villager. If it's one that I like and am particularly close to, then I add more sentiment. That way if they ever move out or show me the letter, they seem more real.

When I'm trying to get/give a gift or when I was getting the postmaster badge, it's pretty rudimentary.

I wrote 150+ of these puppies, but it paid off

I usually just write things along the lines of "Hey, how are you?" or if they're new I'll write something like "I hope we can be friends!"

If I've had the villager before (a past NL town or on an older AC game) sometimes I'll write something dumb like "Do you remember me...from the alternate timeline...I knew you in a past life." lol

I just write hello letters so villagers don't forget me.

The mayor has her badge but still writes letters.
I always send a letter to the villager if I'm unable to catch the bug/fish. The letter removes the fail bug so the friendship level doesn't get lowered.
Always send letters to villagers that are sad. When candy from Gulliver arrives I send it to my lazy villager to make him happy.

On Christmas, Easter or before their birthday I send them a gift wishing them a early happy holiday or birthday.

My extra players have fun with the villagers. Copy things they say in the letter like the crossword puzzle one.
I do what is three letters, a color and starts with R.
On days where the extra players can't play I send letters saying I'm sorry that I couldn't play today. Send them to the post office when the villagers are sleeping. Write I'm studying for a huge exam or I'm sick. Hope to see you soon.

I sometimes write threatening letters to my villagers if I'm trying to get them to wear any clothing I send them:

Dear Goose,

Put this shirt on or you'll be served up with some whipped potatoes and coleslaw for tonight's dinner.

They usually write back saying something generic like "Thanks for the gift.Take this men's toilet as thanks."I guess being eaten isn't one of their greatest fears.

Lol, I usually write blabble and stuff, but hey, I get stuff if I add a useless item!

If I'm not trying to think of something funny, I'll usually mail them something I want them to put in their house with just a "Here." ^^;

If they're new to town, I'll send them a welcome message, and usually my letters will be invitations to come over for tea or gossiping about who's been leaving rude messages on the bulletin board (it was me)

I usually just write letters to give villagers furniture, so usually it's something along the lines of "Here's something I thought you'd like for your house. Have a super day!" But sometimes I'll write random stuff like "I could go for some brownies" or "O'Hare you and Carmen should get married just sayin" or "Phyllis keeps staring at me, I gotta get outta here lol"

I usually give my villagers some feedback and helpful advice. Like this letter I sent to Kody:

Hi Kody,

Your house is in the way and I want to build my cafe here. Please move out as soon as you can and I'll be your best friend.

I usually write just saying "hi" "hello" what's up" only. Writing in sentence/paragraph is too much time lol
