What do you write in your letters to villagers?

I never really send letters but when I do it usually goes something like this:
"Hey <villager>. How are you? Now, you know what I'm gonna say. I wont give you your panties back until you give a cherry." From, senpai-kun. Or something like that.

its taking sooo long and then you run out of space...
i usually write "hi how are you? heres a gift. bye *star symbol*" xD

Haha I write these long drawn out messages. I always end them with "With love, your friend", but the content mostly depends on how I'm feeling and what's been happening, or if I'm sending a gift then I might white about why I'm sending it. I once wrote Whitney a letter asking her to take care of Lolly because it was going to be scary for her moving to a new town and I knew Lolly would look up to her (they also live next door), I think a psychologist would have a field day if they went through my villager letters -_-"
I'm really glad you made this thread, I've been wanting to see if I was normal for a long time, I guess I'm not really but that's okay, I like to write proper messages, it makes me feel like I'm really embracing the game. Also, I've always got positive responses (is it possible to get negative?) and when they show me the letter and tell me they read it every night before bed or such, it actually feels a little more like they mean it. I get way too attached to my villagers!
Plus it gives them something embarassing to show off if they ever go to live in anouther town! ^_^"

The villagers I like I usually tell them how cute/adorable they are! I told Aurora she's adorable like the penguin from happy feet and if she could dance for me- she keeps showing my other characters that letter. Or that Beau always remind me of Bambi! And that he's one of my faves

I also forgot Beau was a boy once, because he kept wearing a pink jacket. So I kept writing like he was a she and sending him aload of girlish comments :') and clothing hahaha

I've repeatedly told hippeaux to just get gone and out of my town

I used to write different things depending on what had happened that day with that villager, trying to fill every line of the paper, but I got bored and now I'm stuck with "This is for you. I hope you like it. Take care. See you."

I don't usually write much to much villagers, it's just something simple like: "Hello, how are you?" And I'll usually attach something like a shell or 100 bells to each letter, since you don't have to put anything valuable in order to get something in return.

I don't write very often to my villagers either, but sometimes I go through phases of trying to stay on top of letter writing. I would send them long letters striking up a convo, and then try to respond to the content of their letters when they send one back.

I honestly forgot about the letters. In Wild World, I'd send them a bunch of letters so I could get fruit. But since New Leaf made it so easy to get fruit, I don't write letters as much anymore. But I did write some today. I told Fang that he's my lovely wolf child and I told Frita that she looks delicious.

I always try to write weird/cute things.
One time i told Rosie she smelt like dirty socks and she sent me a throne the next day ;w;
Idk, I'm always worried they're gonna show my letters to other mayors who visit/adopt them. All of my villagers from other towns that weren't cycling always show me heartfelt letters and its annoying lol

The only time I send letters to a villager is when they won't move outta my town. I just send them a string of curse words and really horrible stuff because It frustrates me to no end. >.> Hippeux moved into my town awhile ago from someone's void and everyday I've sent him about 1 or 2 letters cursing at him for planting his house smack bang on my pathway and a few pink roses.

I usually send welcome letters to my villagers when they move in. Otherwise... I just meme at them since my villagers really like showing letters to my friends when they're in my town.
