What do you love and hate about each season?

I apologise if this is already a thread, I haven't been able to find a thread like this. So.... What do you love the most about each season? What do you hate ? I'll start ^?^

Spring: Spring is a lovely change from the long, cold winter. It's green and vibrant, and I love seeing the butterflies again! My favourite part is certainly the cherry blossom festival. The cherry blossoms are beautiful, especially when the petals are flying through the air. I love bunny day- hunting for eggs is a lot of fun, and Zipper's personality is hilarious xD
April Fools' day and Shamrock day are quite fun, too. I also love the azaleas

Summer: I love how many bugs and fish are available :3 I love the sound of cicadas, and the lush green landscape. The huge dragonflies and butterflies are really cool. I love the bug-off, and the fireworks show is really cool. The summer solstice is a lot of fun, and I love the fireflies in June ! Also, Summer is great for making lots of money.

Autumn: Apart from my birthday, the gradual change of colour and cooling of weather is stunning. I love how the colours go from a a dull green/yellow, to stunning orange and red, then to dull oranges and browns. Seeing first snow in November is pretty exciting. Halloween is my favourite autumn event, and ai love the harvest festival. It's a lot of fun!

Winter: Winter is really exciting, with the snow, snowmen, snowflakes, unique items,auroras... Toy Day, hands Down is my favourite winter event. I love the auroras, and New Year's day is so much fun. Making snowmen is also really enjoyable. Little floating snowflakes and a white snow cover make this season magical. Winter does get tiring towards the end, I always anticipate the exciting change on Feb.25th.

In the spring, I love the pretty cherry blossoms. I look forward to Bunny Day, which is my favorite holiday! There isn't anything I hate about spring.

In the summer, there are more bugs to catch than in any other season. I also enjoy the Sunday night fireworks shows in August. There's one period at the very end of summer, I think, where the green grass turns to a really ugly color that I hate.

In the fall, we have Halloween! It's so much fun trying to get that Creepy furniture. And I love getting the Mushroom furniture in November. What I hate is the ugly brownish grass colors and that there aren't many bugs around.

In the winter, I love Toy Day! I also love the snow for the first couple of weeks. I hate how bad the snow looks against the dirt, though, and that it seems to last forever. I also hate that there are even less bugs around to catch.

For spring: My favorite is how lush and vibrant everything looks in comparison to the winter that just passed. I love seeing all the butterflies out, and since bug catching is my favorite it's exciting to know that bugs will finally be out once again. I've never experienced the cherry blossoms yet, so I'm really excited to see that! I don't think I hate anything about spring.

Summer: This is the season where all the bugs and fish come out, so it's exciting every day to go out and catch things and you can make lots of money this way. Also, I loooove the fireworks in August, they feel so bittersweet to me because it's like the last celebration of summer before school starts up once again and fall approaches. I have lots of good memories of this game from the summer, with lots of trips to the island and late night bug hunting in my town. The only thing I sort of hate are the abundance of cicadas, although I do love the noises they make.

Fall: Fall in rl is my favorite season, and I love seeing all the dark colors of the grass and trees and getting excited when I gradually see it changing. There are also lots of grasshopper and locusts, and crickets too so the noises they all make add to the vibe of fall. What i don't really like is that during the color change some of the grass cycles can be really ugly, and it makes the game look so dreary.

Winter: Winter is probably my least favorite season, only because during the first half its fun and exciting with Toy Day and the "new"-ness of snow and New Years, but the second half drags on forever and makes it not as fun to play the game. I lost interest in the snowmen halfway through and never bothered to make any. Plus this season is very cloudy throughout so there isn't any color. When it snows, however, I do like winter and I love how the snow makes the music sound.

Yes, I agree that the grass colour at the end of Summer is quite unattractive >-< Though the transition to fall is pretty exciting.
Collecting mushroom furniture in November is a lot of fun! The colours in late November/early December are pretty ugly, though xD
Winter is pretty dull with the lack of bugs and fish, but at the same time it feels magical xD

kennedycrossing : Yes, I love the transition from February to March! The green grass is such a refreshing sight, and I get so happy every time I see a butterfly. There isn't anything to hate about Spring xD The cherry blossoms are incredible- I guarantee you'll love seeing them!
Summer is great and lively with all the bugs and fish- sunny summer mornings are incredible. I agree with the fireworks; towards the end of August they're quite bittersweet, especially when the villagers remind you it's the last show of the summer, because I instantly get reminded of school and colder weather.. Yhough, at the same time I love that time of year xD

Yes... some of the colours in autumn really are ugly. I adore the crickets and grasshoppers though, they make the atmosphere awesome!
Winter is really magical and cool at the start, but just like real life it gets tiring... and I also find it harder to landscape in winter xD

For the most part, I agree with you! I just really love the cicadas, and the Spring festivals xD

I'm gonna start from winter, if that's okay!

Winter - I love how the snow covers everything, and makes it look very elegant but I hate how the snow makes the town look really barren and empty. The season also lasts for a long time in game, so I get pretty tired of it pretty quickly. But I love the soundtrack for events such as toy day. It just makes me feel all warm inside. I also love the winter outfits that are available in game, I prefer long sleeved shirts to short sleeved in game so that's a bonus for me! The winter jumpers are adorable and I love wearing them.

Spring - I love spring for the cherry blossoms, and the fact that the flowers and bushes have come back to life, even though they're still present in winter they feel a little more "alive" I also love the spring events such as bunny day and just the whole idea of spring especially with the cute dialogue my villagers have been saying about spring. Also the fact that my mayor can start wearing short sleeves now, as she kept shivering before.

Summer - I don't really love much about this season, because it's kinda just the same as spring, minus the cherry blossoms. I like that summer has a lot more events though, such as the fireworks show and there's constant events that occur in August. So it does give me something to do.

Autumn - This has to be my favourite season in the whole game. I love the changes in colour varying from dates in the autumn seasons, the oranges, the browns everything. I just love everything about this season. It's a good middle ground for me, I can either wear short sleeves or long sleeves and it's not too over the top either. It's just simplistic little changes to the scenery that make this my favourite season. Apart from that it's also my birthday in autumn so i'm pretty happy about that too! Not to mention I love halloween.

Winter:

Because Winter is my favorite season in animal crossing, there's obviously a lot of things I like aboout it. For one, the snow is very beautiful. Igloo campers are a blast, Toy Day is magical, the auroras are amazing, and the Winter Solstice/New Years Countdown is cool.

Summer:

Summer makes me eager to head out to the island and do some tours or catching. The bright, fun atmosphere is great, and Its a generally fun season.
Dislikes: Few events!

Spring:

I can't say much about it. I love what I've seen so far, though! I need to get to April and May before I say a ton though.
Dislikes, so far: The return of green grass is great, but I begin to miss winter every so often.

Autumn:

I loooove the events taking place. The Harvest Festival is pretty cute, and the mush furniture/color changes are extraordinary and neat. I wish I would have more time to do Halloween, but TrickorTreating keeps me busy. As long as I'm a kid, I'll be willing to dress up for free candy!

Spring: I love seeing the bright colors and the green grass and trees after months with seeing hardly any green in your town at all. In game, there's not really much I hate about spring since it's so cheerful so I'll add in one thing I hate about spring irl: I'm allergic to pollen yay*sarcasm.

Summer:Summer is also a very bright and vibrant season. After you get half way through it, you get tired of the green though. Plus if you're like me and don't want your characters to be tanned then summer is mostly hats and umbrellas.

Fall: The beginning of fall is very beautiful and refreshing after so much green. Plus you finally get to take off that hat and put your umbrella away! After a while though, it gets mostly brown and depressing.

Winter: Absolutely, stunning gorgeous! I love it especially when it's snowing! So beautiful. But like summer, you start getting tired of seeing all white for so long.

I love everything about spring.
I like how lively summer is, but sometimes it's annoyingly lively.
Autumn is my favorite in real life, but I don't think it transitions well into this game. If the trees had more varied colored of the leaves, it would easily be my favorite.
Winter is my least favorite but I love the lights in the trees.
