What do you love about your dreamies?

They are dreamies for a reason... so what is it that you love about them and made you go 'wow I NEED them in my town!'

I'll start:

Teddy - He was my absolute BFFL in Wild World. I would visit his house everyday and he would visit mine, and would also write me constantly. I managed to get him for my NL town and he's still the good ol' bear I used to know.

Lobo - I love his eyes, they look so sad and lonely. I find wolves very interesting, feeling animals that are emotionally sensitive. They also mate for life. I find Lobo's expression reminds me of an old man who is sad that he watched his life go by so quickly.

Fauna - SO CUTE! Sweetest lil' deer there is. I prefer villagers who look more like their real-life counterparts, which is why Fauna appealed to me because her design stays very true to an actual white-tailed deer. Since my town is named after the lake my cottage is on, I thought she'd be a great addition to my town as well since there's lots of deer to see up there.

Whitney - I happen to think she's very simple and pretty. Plus, her becoming a dreamie is related to Lobo. Lobo is based on a wolf from a story called 'Lobo the King of Currampaw'. It basically tells of a wolf named Lobo who was in an ongoing conflict with this farmer for eating his livestock. Eventually, the farmer kills Lobo's lover named Blanca, a white wolf, and eventually Lobo dies of a broken heart. I love this story so much, so I thought it would be cute to have Whitney as Blanca. Their houses are next to each other's too and it's so cute!

Rolf - White tigers are beautiful, rare animals, so I naturally gravitated towards Rolf when I saw him. I think he's one of those misunderstood villagers like Kabuki; he looks like a menace but has a soft and chewy center. Rolf has always been there for me and is kinda like the wise grandpa mentor. I just love him! (I also find it kinda cute how Spring Blossoms plays in his house in NL)

Rudy - When I first learned of plot resetting, I realized I needed a cat in my town as I'm an avid cat lover. When looking up the cats, I instantly fell in love with Rudy. He's just so cute! His little red nose is adorable. I also think his house is really cute.

Carmen - At first I wasn't too keen on Carmen from her artwork, I thought she was a little strange looking. But when she moved into my cycle town... OHMIGAWD she was such a cutie, I had to have her! She isn't annoying like most peppies are for me either, and looks like a cute lil' chocolate bun. I love her!

Erik - He's a moose. I'm Canadian. Nuff said.

Avery - I think Avery's a really underrated villager. I mean, he's an eagle based on Native American/Aztec design! I think that's really cool, and since my town is based on the north of Canada, I thought he would be fitting as a result. He's also a really sweet cranky.

Poppy - MAH BAE. She is the sweetest pixelized creature oh my god it's not even legal to be this cute. Poppy is so painfully sweet and kind that it hurts. She also reminds me of the baby red squirrels and chipmunks I used to feed peanuts growing up, so she's kinda special to me in that way. :3

Shari, Nana, and Deli - I love monkeys!!
Tammi - Ring Tailed Lemur
Bertha - Because Hippos are awesome!
Octavian - My favorite of the Octopi
Anabelle - After having her for a while I really started to enjoy this Pangolin
Ankha and Lucky - I love mythology. Plus they go well together!
Julian - I am a brony. I love mythology.
Drago and Phoebe - I love mythology.
Stitches, Merengue, Clay - I love the designs
Rory - Because he's a lion!

Beau- I adore this little guy! I got him randomly back in July and he left me! I was so sad. I found out I could get him back and finally did. He is my favorite and I absolutely adore him. He is a cutie.
Bam, Diana, Fauna, Zell, Erik- Love the deer.
Lopez- The first villager I seen before the game was released. When I seen him I knew I had to have him.
Julian- Who couldn't love a magical cute unicorn?!? Lol
Merengue- What a yummy looking rhino.
Lolly, Punchy- So adorable.
Rosie- I have always wanted her and finally got her.
Marina- Wanted her for so long. So adorable.
Fang- The best wolf
Maple- Had her in city folk and loved her.
Bluebear, Poncho, Stitches- I love the bear cubs.
Marshal, Blaire- They are both adorable.
Wolfgang, Aurora- Had them in GameCube had to have them again.
Biskit- Cool eyes! What an adorable dog.

I have four towns so a lot of villagers. The ones I listed are the ones I wanted a lot and looked for. I like all my villagers, but these are the ones I would call a dreamy.

Annalisa: I mainly had trouble picking a normal, my friend had her, and she was very pretty. I love her little eyebrows! shipping her with yuka made me like her even more tbh

Katt: I admittedly always thought katt was a lil ugly? she wasnt even originally a dreamie. but renee moved into a terrible spot, so I had to replace her, and I decided to visit katt in a dream town bc I saw some cute art of her, and oh my god, I LOVED her in game! like there was no question she was the one to replace renee. shes my 2nd favorite villager now <333

Lopez: back when marshal was my smug dreamie, I found out marshal was actually very expensive, and I had originally just chosen him bc he was the most tolerable smug imo. i decided to look through the list again and saw lopez and it was like love at first sight yk? hes jus t too fabulous..

Yuka: i fell in love with yuka in my cf days. admittedly, shes getting a bit boring, but I ship her with annalisa so hard I couldnt let her move out without annalisa, and I doubt theres anyone else with them both as dreamies. the ship is helping me like her a lot more, though.

Rod: hes like this little baby swabby mouse and hes so tiny and squishy and then hes like "I just fresh greased my abs wanna feel" and I just

Zucker: I wanted zucker since before newleaf came out. I saw him and I loved him instantly, idk why.

Ruby: she was my favorite peppy, but I didnt expect to love her as much as I do. wowowow what a cutie ugh

Muffy: I love gothic lolita fashion and she reminds me of stocking from panty and stocking. I dont think the personality fits her, though, and although I love her, im considering changing her for diva or shari.

Wolfgang: hes legitimately been in every single town ive ever had, hes my best friend and sort of like a replacement for my dad. he makes me feel loved and special and some of the things he says actually makes me cry a lil?? I love him a lot and hes really really important to me

Kyle: i had been eyeing him for a while and just gradually fell more and more in love with him. to add to that, hes a hyena- and ive always wanted a hyena villager- and he reminds me of a fantroll of mine.

Rosie I just love her design, even though I love her we have love/hate relationship mostly, yet she is so precious xD
Marshal he is a smug marshmallow, and I don't care about the haters. Marshal life didn't choose me, I choose him!
Shep he reminds me of Mike from attack on titan...

Flurry she is so round and squishy...
Bruce he was my very first acnl starter, oh memories..
Genji he reminds me of anime

Ankha I tried her to be friends with her and we clicked right away, never expected that!
Stitches he is a stalker, but he is so cute I allow him anything

Bluebear she is blue... everything is blue, even her umbrella....

Tangy~ Wanted her since I was little on my first animal crossing game, can't remember how i discovered her. lovelovelove <3
Dotty~ I love her design! And how her eyes go red and her name and her house exterior.
Marshal~ He just looks so tiny and cute and grumpy and he reminds me of one of my cats.
Tutu~ I ship her and Marshal soooo... ^^^^ Y'know, the hair?? And they're both white and adorable.
Bob~ Had him in WW, used to be scared of him. xD Now I like him though.
Merengue~ She's pink and I love cake!
Fauna~ Aaaaah I love deer. Her design is so so so cute.
Diana~ She just looks so gentle and sweet. I love the colours on her design and she fits in with the pink/white theme. c:
Apple~ Aw, she's so cute! She's pink and she always makes me smile. :3
And then my last dreamie is still undecided. >~<

I won't refer to my favorite villagers as dreamies, because that phrase just bugs me somehow, but I'm happy to share their awesomeness.

Canberra: perfect angry resting face is perfect. She is basically a koala version of Peppermint Patty.
Mac: He's that really old man who's been working out his entire life and loves preaching the gospel of physical fitness to the young'uns.
Katt: All around Uchi badass
Cherry: She's cooler than everyone in my town, but isn't an ass about it.
Lucky: Has been my baby since the Gamecube
Chester: Looks soulful and haunted, which makes me feel protective of him.
Sparro: Has the intense eyes of a bowler.
Molly: Her enormous fuzzy brown head is charming.
Merry: Looks like she has an epic overbite that makes her lisp.

There are many others, so I'll just stop there.

Stitches: he's a friggin walking teddy bear!! What's not to love about that??
Tia: She's one of the very first ACNL villagers that captured my heart... she lived in my first town and I miss seeing her around so so much. Also that teapot design of hers is just pure awesomeness
Diana: she really grew on me
Merengue: I just want to swallow her..yum yum!
Roscoe: Da best cranky out there in my humble opinion. So BA looking!
Genji: oh I adore any Japanese themed characters. Plus he has an awesome Japanese themed house!
Frita: she's made out of hamburger and french fries!!! I just can't resist her design!!
Tangy: haha she's basically a big orange, and I LOVE oranges in real life! (one of my favorite kind of fruit!)

Deirdre - I live in NJ, were deer are everywhere, she reminded me of one and is misunderstood in looks (lips look like mustache)

Felicity - She's queen okay?!?

MOST OF THESE ARENT EVEN DREAMIES, MORE LIKE "LOL I KEPT A RANDOM MOVE-IN"

walt - He was actually a random-move in. I decided to keep him because I always thought T-Bone told him to take his place for when he moved. I also like his scar and bandages, and japanese/zen theme. Makes him look cool. I'm trying to cycle for him right now..

kabuki - Another random move in. He reminded me of Walt, and constantly tried to make the two best friends. Kabuki has a japanese/zen theme too, and I love his design. The first time I saw Kabuki before he moved in, I was watching a person do the Shrunk Funk Shuffle everywhere, and I always thought he looked cool.

filbert - He used to be in my GC version on Animal Crossing. He was my best friend on there. I didn't play too often though, but I'm sure I'll play a lot on NL.

poncho - A random jock move in, I think after Mac moved out. He looks adorable, and he just fit in. Sometimes, he's that one villager that's just there, but I can't help but keep him.

eugene - I wanted him so badly and planned to get him before I bought the game. I was reading The Outsiders when I found him on the internet, and of course, I'd want a greaser in my town. When someone gave him to me, he didn't act like a greaser at all when I met him because of the smug personality, but I don;t care. Also, his sunglasses are hella.

chrissy and francine - Francine was more like a "dreamie from first sight". I saw her in my camp, and I immediately told her to move in. Then I decided that I get Chrissy too, because both of them look absolutely adorable. I also like bunnies.

lolly - At first, I thought she were really overrated. Well, she still is, but after seeing her in-game, she won me over. Her faces are adorable, her design is adorable, and I LOVE cats in-game, other than bunnies. I also like the back of her head.

shep - My first smug move-in. I fell in love with this villager, and talked to him constantly. He eventually moved away after finding out that I can time travel, and his move-out led me to this site. I gave up trying to look for him, but after watching the anime Kawai Complex a couple of weeks ago, I decided to look for him again.

dotty - Again, I love bunnies. I saw Dotty in a dream town, and after seeing her red eyes, I immediately wanted her. I mean, who doesn;t want a adorable evil rabbit?

Diana - I had her as a day one in my first town before I restarted. Her design and how great she was to me made me like her.
Flora - I adore flamingos and she's cute.
Static - I dunno, he's really cute in my opinion and I like how unique his design is.

Ken - I love his coloring and how cute he is. He's been really sweet to me also. I'd hug him. c:

He was my starter villager and he was such a cutie I'm so sad I can't plot reset for starters because his house placement is horrible. Erik has been with me longest and he sends me the cutest letters!!
I honestly wasn't very fond of her until I got an offer for her and once she moved into my town I liked her alot. Her colours are so nice and pastel.
I honestly hated hamsters and Flurry was the one I was "eh" about but I saw her in my friend's DT and I fell in love with her and I like how my town tune makes a squeaking sound because she's a cute little hamster snowball thing omg
It's complicated. Rather not talk about it but he's so sweet as a villager, he sends me letters very often and they make me smile
Colton&Julian are horse princes and I just had to.
WILD WORLD. THIS GUY. He's so cute and he's a teddy bear! I really like his design because he seems sort of creepy yet cute. I just wish I plot reset for him cause he's on the other side of town and I have to walk all the way across town to talk to him
I didn't have a peppy but I saw a bunch of posts starring Chrissy and I thought she was so adorable. I sadly don't have Francine
I needed an uchi but she's gothic lolita themed and that's really cool but she's also a sheep! Gothic lolita sheeps are cool.
i didn't like marshal. i thought he was like that one bratty rich kid but when i got the opportunity to take him, i went for it and when i traded for him i began to like him a lot and he's such a cute marshmallow squirrel! plus, flurry and marshal are my otp

Francine: First before having her in my town I always though that Chrissy was a lot cuter.. but I was wrong xD When I visited someone with Francine in their town, I totally fell in love. Her design is amazing, I love her sly expression, those eyes and the whole polka dot pattern. Also she's super nice, the sweetest villager I've ever had. She's funny and always says the cutest things to me. I totally screamed when I saw her at the station when I started my second town, so I'm pretty happy to have her now in my both towns xD

Chrissy: I mostly love her because of the similiar design as Francine and before having Franc in my town, I always though that Chrissy was a lot better, but maybe that was because she's pink..? I loved Chrissys design when I first saw her in cover of Bubblegum K.K and I was totally surprised when I heard that there was actually a villager like her xD Her face is a bit creepy and I find peppy villager kinda annoying at times, but she's great. Really nice and everything, she's always visiting me and I love talking with her.

Marshal: I loved Marshal since I saw his picture. I have a weird squirrel fetish and he was adorable male squirrel, soo I thought he was adorable. It was really hard to get him though, even I did TTing that time, I just couldn't get him to my town or get him from other towns, cause people asked mad amounts of bells for him and like I had those xD Anyway someone was kind enough to give him to me for free and I will forever be thankful for that person c: Marshal is great, even he's annoying at times and made fun of the birthday present I gave him..He's still adorable male squirrel.

Muffy: When I first saw Muffy's pic I was horrified, cause she looked super creepy and I felt bad for my sister who just got her xD But after talking with Muffy in my sisters town, she was amazing. I think her design is so cute, cause she's a lolita sheep and cause she's uchi, she's always talking about interesting stuff etc.. I'm personally not a big fan of the other sheep, even I think that sheep are adorable, but Muffy is so cute
