What do you like in giveaways?

I like to have hybrids and bush starts in giveaways I also love villager pictures.

When I was trying to get my train station upgrade I did a huge giveaway. There were rare hybrids, bush starts, sweets furniture, some rare orderable items that I see people always looking for, bells, gracie clothes, villager pictures, tons of real artwork, and some streetpass items. I had everything wrapped though and everyone got to take three bags and everyone got a general 10k off the bat for coming.. I enjoyed it a lot because no one really knew what items to expect coming so there was any "aww I didn't get this" or "man I really wanted that". I did notice some of my hybrids missing though and it could of been someone that easily accidentally trampled them following me and the rest of the party to the giveaway area. But after that I ended it and let the last group I had scheduled come and they got probably 10 or more bags each of what was leftover. I had to buy sooooo much wrapping paper for it. It was kind of crazy but a lot of fun for the most part. I had a lot of repeat people coming multiple times and changing their outfits each time (was kinda cute lol). I'll probably do it again in my second town at some point for that train station upgrade.

I've done some popular villager raffles or contests and honestly I just don't really enjoy them. If you aren't randomly picking a winner then it's so hard to choose a winner because you really wish you could give everyone that villager. Even if you do randomly pick a winner through a drawing I still kind of feel bad for the others that didn't win. I'd much rather just seek someone out to give away a villager to whether through the looking for thread or seeing their signature.

I think I've only ever entered in a few giveaways...one was a christmas one on here and I won some villager pictures but sadly the host's town corrupted so I said not to worry about it. It was fun though as an outlet to countdown the days to the holiday though and seeing the different things people won each day. And then there's a guy who holds these post giveaways...where the 115th post wins a sloppy set...a 711 set...a mermaid set...or some other rare set. I like to post in them just for the fun really...everyone makes rather silly posts in anticipation to the final post.

Usually, the biggest incentive for me to participate in giveaways is when there's region-specific items that aren't from my region.

I'm such a slow player and my times these days are sporadic, so I like Bells. Yep...the money is my main problem (but that's my own fault). I also love special furniture items and all Gracie Grace Stuff. But hybrids are also terrific as well as non-regional DLC...wow!

I love giveaways but don't like when people give millions of bells getting bells makes the game ruin for me since I didn't get them myself
