I keep the rare stuff that can't be ordered, sometimes the items that were huge bell sinks at the store (it's crazy how much some things cost in this game. It's like GracieGrace prices...I shudder to think what she is going to charge if the Nooks are scalping the way they are), 3 of each bug and fish for models, and crafting materials.

I’m an extreme hoarder. So many clothes I’ll never wear and furniture I’ll never use. I have a very bad habit of trying to complete my catalog and end up keeping everything I buy rather than selling it. Trying to get over this hurdle. My storage stays max capacity 24/7. It’s so bad now that even my pocket inventory stays full! T_T Gonna try my best to get rid of any and everything I don’t use or want. It’s definitely gonna be a tough one though. Maybe one day I’ll get started on that! (I’m also an extreme procrastinator)
Just sell the stuff that is orderable and not a lot of bells. You can always buy the stuff back.

Since I don't feel like I need to buy everything available to complete the catalogue, I only buy what I like. My storage is mostly clothes, furniture and resources. I don't like keeping duplicates of anything and I sell whatever I feel I no longer need. I won't keep something that is rare just because it's rare. If I don't like it or I don't plan on using it in any way, it gets sold.
My main priority are things I'm definitely going to use plus some materials. I've got some unorderables in there yet but I don't know what I'm going to do with them when I get more because there's a bunch I definitely won't be using. I've also got some bugs for when Flick visits so I can get models of them.

I'm a hoarder too but only try to keep things I think I will actually use, so its all stuff in a somewhat similar style. I'm pretty good about furniture, but for clothes I want to keep everything so its really hard. Right now I'm trying to just have seasonal wardrobes so I sold all my winter/fall clothes at the beginning of May and will buy it all back again in Sept or October
I basically keep anything that's not reorderable, a pain to get again if I sell it (i.e. flower seeds) or materials in storage. I used to keep everything, but I ran out of room so I sold off anything I could just buy again through the Nook Shopping app, but I managed to fill it up rather quickly again. Not surprising that I've run out of room given what I keep, lol.

I Sell both unorderable and Orderable at i do not like or see myself useing. Some Gulliver or his twin or others i sell off at i do not like. I Do not have Room to keep all the unordable and so on. DLC items and stuff at outside of the normal gameplay i keep like i did in new leaf. So It hurt to 2nd guess myself but i do not have the room to keep every unorderable stuff.

Same here I Hate to sell rare stuff but i do not like it or see myself useing it i sell it so i can keep a Photo or Something i like.

I kept a handful of furniture that are expensive to buy along with some clothing that is unorderable and ones that I intend to wear them again in the later future. I also store a few wands and lots of resources to anticipate diy recipes that require them.
