What do you guys personally like to see in a dream town?

I love seeing custom patterns in someone's dream town. It doesn't even matter to me if the patterns are "good" by general standards; I just love that the owner did something original, and it makes the town feel even more special. (That doesn't mean I don't also enjoy well-known QR paths and patterns, though. )

Sometimes I'll visit a dream town that's really well done, but their mayor and other character(s) still say the default, "Thanks!"
It sort of spoils things, even though it's a small detail.

Clothes and treats aren't a must for me, though I do love being able to change out of the PJs. I always throw the PJ hat onto the ground as soon as I get there.
If the town is themed, clothes go a long way toward the feel of the town.

I'm not creative or great at designing, so seeing really awesome, put-together themed towns is really cool. Especially when they leave clothes and items that match. I visited a really cool fairy type tea party town, so they had a princess outfit and candy treats and stuff left out wrapped as presents. But, on the other hand, sometimes I get tired of the perfect town and I want to see just random stuff. In regards to the paths: it's neat to see how people lay it all out, and it helps guide you along to experience the town how they want you to. But I feel like I might miss something, so I usually follow the path and then run around willy-nilly exploring.
I don't really think there are many must-haves though. The great thing about animal crossing is seeing how people customize and make their town their own. Since there's so many different things to focus on or develop, I like seeing other people's play styles.
