What do you gift your villagers to boost friendship without ruining their house interiors?

Ugh this is the struggle. Furniture is so so many more points more than fruit or anything else, but I really like most of their interiors. I’ve occasionally given them things that I thought would fit but I could never do it every day. I mostly wrap non native fruit, I occasionally give them clothes. never fish and bugs unless they beg for them, because they do look horrid in their houses.

Only gift wrapped foreign fruit and I just got my 7th photo today.

Okay, I might just swap over more to fruit and give them clothing only when I feel it will absolutely suit them.
I've been spending too much money on my villagers' clothing lately. lol...

Wrapped golden roses seems to work really well for me.

Clothes and iron wall lamps (the latter won’t get displayed), always wrapped of course. I use the clothing gifts as an outlet for my love of fashion and choosing the right things for specific villagers. The iron wall lamps are purely utilitarian haha (I’ve gotten 4 photos so far)!

I just give them fruit. I like to think of it as if I were helping feed the community, making sure that nobody goes hungry for the day.
