What do you do with your pitfall seeds?

Since WW I have always dug up the first one I find and buried it in the top corner of my town, surrounded it by tiles and flowers and finally a tree to hide the crack in the ground.

If anyone does fall into it then well.... you probably shouldn't have gone there in the first place

i hate them sm,, like i have no use for them at all so i just throw them away tbh they are a waste of pocket space!!

Sell it, throw it away, fall into it. Yep that's my story for what I do with pitfall seeds.

Pitfall seeds are so annoying and they only sell for 10 bells so it's not even worth digging them up; I just leave one buried right next to the bulletin board. I use the tricky pitfall seeds to play pranks on villagers I don't like

Usually sell. Sometimes I fall into them but luckily, not terribly often.

This thread is interesting. I hadn't thought about burying some in a distant corner or edge of a beach. How many do you need buried so you town won't spawn more?

I have a pitfall seed buried at the far end of my beach to where you can't see it, so no more will be buried the next day. If one's already buried, no more will appear.

i didn't know that reburying one did that! i'm gonna do that on the little private section of my beach so that no more will spawn. otherwise, i've just been selling them.

tip: If you plant the pitfall seed in the beach area, it won't spawn anymore + you know exactly where it is and you (most likely) won't fall into it.
