What do you do with your flowers when they go crazy?

My black tulips have run wild and I don’t have the heart to sell them. I just put hybrid red and orange pansies in between and that stopped them from growing thankfully. I should probably give some away but I don’t thjink I should until they take over my island tbh

Imagine a whole flat island just fully covered in flowers. I wonder how that would look lol

As a perfectionist, probably really great or super bad. But it would be cool thing to try out if someone has a spare copy lying around!

I've tried giving them away, I've tried selling them, but when I'm working and need a space cleared nothing is as quick as just trashing them... and I'm not strung up for cash or tickets enough to horde them.

As much as I’d like to give away the flowers they are too much hassle especially when other players ask for like 1 or 2 specific hybrids!! Not worth sitting through the long dodo dialogue and loading screen to fly to another island and plant them there imo I generally sell them at Nooks but I put down custom paths before TT-ing to control weeds and flowers

Yeah my mood definitely plays a factor as well. If I'm feeling ambitious I'll either sell them or try and find some spots for them over my island. Most of the time in the bin they go though!

I sell my extra flowers to the Nooklings. I’d give them away, but my friends have already had their share of flower breeding madness, so I just go to Nook’s Cranny and pretend my hybrids will make their way to a flower shop on a different island.

I used to move them to the beach but it quickly became so full I couldn't put any more flowers there. As much as it pains me to get rid of those pretty flowers, I now sell any flower that I do not intend to keep somewhere on my island.

So at first I moved all of my flowers to my beaches because I haven't finished my island, so I may want them in the future. After spending hours doing that, and seeing how many non-hybrid flowers I have, I've now started trashing the non-hybrids so I can free up my beach again. I also have no immediate plans to develop more of my island so for now, the beach hybrids are just chilling, lol. If I can find some people who want the hybrids that would be ideal, but I can't bear to throw them away just yet, lol.

I sell them. I got so fed up with the flower spawn during the rainy season that I made a clear tile to put on the ground to keep them in check in certain areas.

Starting to feel like I'm the only one that didn't think about doing that clear tile idea

Whenever i have the mental capacity to, i'll dig them up and sell them through the drop off box (regardless of nook's open/close status). Most of the time, I'll let them take over... good bye, my island.

I end up selling all of my hybrid but I don't like/need. But I always sell the blue rose hybrids because they sell for about 1000 bells each which is way more than any of the others. Gold rose stems also sell for this much.
