I throw them in a very misplaced trashcan pwp. One day I might get rid of it, when I stop finding garbage over my town. I have three gyroids in display at one of my rooms. They work so well with music and are quite in tune with it.
I thought about eventually digging them all up and keeping one of each, but I'd need one villager just for storing them away. So that might now happen.
I keep certain varieties of gyroids but tend to sell the ones I'm not particularly fond of.
My main horror town's mayor has all the styles of Poltergoid in one of the rooms in her house because I love the design they have, along with a Mega Rustoid in the Cabin room since the color worked well with the furniture and the face was agreeable to me. I'm interested in collecting the Howloids and Freakoids and seeing if I can find somewhere in the house for them. Additionally, in this town, I tend to give Octavian Nebuloids since his house has an outer space theme and in my headcanon he and Marina are actually aliens.
I plan to dedicate a room, or part of a room, in my bird town mayor's home to Brewstoids.
I might look into Bowtoids for my circus/magic show town's mayor's house since one of the planned rooms is like a performance room with a stage area, tables and chairs for the audience and such, and the Bowtoids might fit in.
Finally, in my fourth town, I have a robot room planned for one of the characters so I plan to get the Clankoids, Dinkoids, and Sputnoids to go with the Robo furniture.
Having been a fan of the series since the GameCube game when gyroids were more prominent (less furniture to contend with, the gyroid outside your house), and because of their inspiration from the Haniwa, I have an appreciation for gyroids.
A: With the Gyriods that I get in the game I would just sell them to Re-Tail. The only ones I don't sell off are the ones you can get from Brewster. I just place those Gyroids at Club LOL since I really don't want to sell those off. They kind of look nice.
I throw them hap-haphazardly at my hubby's alt. Right now they've began spilling out of the storage confinements and are threatening to overthrow the town...
Someday we'll go through what we actually have and weed out the clones. Maybe.
On a side note: Do people buy Gyroids on here, or would it be best to dump them on Reese?
