Hey everybody! I'm having some troubles figuring out things to do to pass the time, and was wondering, what do you all do? Of course, there's the same ol' fishing and bug catching, but that gets old quick. Especially when you dump a couple hours in to the island each night.

i kind of have a set routine in the game, not sure if it'll help but maybe you'll find something new to do!
i have accumulated quite a bit of grass wear and the yearning to cultivate hybrids, so i will walk around my town watering lots of stuff (the ground, flora). that gives me a chance also to see what new hybrids are growing and also i can replant them in various places to decorate. i also try to look for the money rock and my ore, i'll usually find some fossils in the ground. this also gives my villagers a chance to ping me, so i'll try to talk to them and see if they have tasks for me to take care of.

i'll make my way to main street to do some shopping, pass by the museum to get my fossils inspected. i'm trying to make mini fossil models so i'll piece them together after that and take em to retail! i try to give my villagers custom furniture also, so that gives me something to do (order clothing or find ores to customize furniture for them). tryna get HHA points too so that eats up some time! if you don't have all of the emoticons from club LOL, you can do that too (oftentimes i'm too lazy tho).

(i also have been trying to collect the rewards from desert island & the puzzle game).

I tend to rearrange my flowers, but most of the time I just walk circles around the rocks and villagers around my town like some sort of forbidden ritual.

Sounds about right. I do just about the same!

when i first get on i will go around looking for hybrids, the breakable rock, the money rock and fossils. take them to the museum and then do some shopping and see what all is there. i go to club lol to see if i can get a new emotion thing and stop by nooks home thing and see if anything i like is there. i also like to go around to my trees and shake them to get money and items but be careful cause bees love to come out of them! at this time i also look at my bamboo to see if any new ones are there for me to dig up when i get to it. i will also check my orchard and if fruit is on them i like to pick them just to make some extra money.

after all that, i will do some fishing, scuba diving, talking to villagers throughout the whole thing. in the afternoon around 7 or so i like to go to the island to do some bug catching cause if u have the right set up u can get a lot of bells! after i get back from the island i will go back around where my flowers are that im trying to get hybrids from and check if any of the villagers planted any extra flowers and if they did i will pick them and water the rest.

i guess thats what i normally do throughout the day, with some different things every dau like doing things the villagers need, if there is a oarty i will go to them and bring something for a present, things like that too

haha yeah, that too

Sometimes I farm money from getting fruit, beetles and sharks from the island. The fact that you can steal fruit during island tours astonish me.
Other times I like to talk to my villagers and take out-of-context pictures that may turn into scandals.
I also take the time developing my town by making pathways and adding and removing pwps, and in the process, breeding for hybrid flowers and placing them neatly around my town.

But usually, I just time travel villagers I dont want and villagers I want to give to Maui. The villager housing placement is my top priority, and since I don’t plot reset I need to solely rely on patterns. If somehow the villager moves on somewhere unexpected, I work my way through it- improvise.

Either I buy new furniture and decorate my house, invite peeps over or go to their town, catch bug/fish, talk to my villagers until they ping me or ask me for a favor, or waste my bells at Club Tortimer just to get some 8 years olds to ask for bells lmao.
