What did you name your town?

I named my town Bayeux, after the town I was living in when I created the file (I lived in France for a year). It was a beautiful place along the Aure river where I stayed with family friends. It was a great time so I thought I might as well theme and name my acnl town after it lol.

I named my NL town Vermont because I go up there alot during the year with my family for vacation. Plus, I’ve always liked to make my towns have a countryside look to them, makes everything feel more relaxing.

Aurora! It's not the most original name, but it's also a song title from two of my favourite groups, Onewe and Ateez. My character is also named after a member of Onewe, Cya.

My current town is named Gatito ("kitty" in spanish). The town itself isn't cat-themed, but I though it sounded cute, and also it matched with my mayor's name (which is another word for kitty :'p).
Before it, I lived in Apple (it was the native fruit of my first animal crossing town), Yawn and Blush (they sounded cute).

I also had 2 towns named after places in certain videogames, but I learnt my lesson and wont do that again :'p (the second I stop being obsessed with the game its named after, I start disliking the town's name)

Mine is called Hollows. I really wanted to use the name Ashen Hollow, but it doesn't allow it. So, I used the next best name. I really like it. Before Hollows, I had Univa, Hampton, Alpaca, and Palette. I've had wayyy to many towns over the years.

Mine is Italica. It's a reference to my ancestor's country, Italy, in its Latin name. Not very original, but I could easily make appropriate flag and anthem for it.

My town’s island name used to be Antartic, inspired by Antarctica. For some reason, my 3DS doesn’t work anymore (will get it fixed, though), so I haven’t played NF in a while (years).
It was nothing like Antarctica though, it was ugly since I played it as a child. It wasn’t even ice/snow themed…
