You're welcome. I think this is the most mature I've been on this forum.
I will just stop talking about anime, and act like a dont like it. That would be best for everyone
No, please don't. If you like anime, then express it, I was just trying to point out that there are other things to life. There's no reason anybody should be mad at you because you like anime and manga, and Japan. I like those things as well, and I hope I do a very long time.
Agreed.. I guess

I mean, I don't in any way want to discourage you from liking the things you do, I just wanted to point out there are many more other amazing things in life.

It's okay. I can be really mean and not take in the risk of hurting people's feelings sometimes, but these past few weeks with everything going on in my life I think I've grown much more mature and considerate.

GODDAMN IT LAWLIET LEAVE HER ALONE IT'S CHRISTMAS

if all you are/were interested is manga, that's totally okay. at some point you'll lose interest in it, even if it's only the slightest bit. your tastes will change, and you will have both fond memories of stories you read/watched, along with the experience and wisdom to see the inherent flaws that storytelling brings.

I would say disregard the extremist tone that lawliet presents, and instead "let nature run it's course". if you don't run out of steam on the topic of anime/manga, then great. hopefully by then you'd be able to land a job in that field in some way, whether it be creating, reviewing, or reporting. hell, having it as simply a hobby (which is how lawliet is suggesting) would be great.

just don't change yourself on a dime, as you'll only sink deeper into depression and loneliness and good golly that isn't good. of course, having your life based only on one thing is what's the problem, and i think is what lawliet is focusing on.

in which case, you simply need variety, and lawliet is being an *censored.1.6* by calling you a weeaboo, instead of trying to be positive/helpful and offering advice/some kind of insight.

or some*censored.2.0*. i dunno. lol, lawliet.

Please read the whole conversation between the two of us, it states I was simply trying to tell her there are many more things to life and that what she likes in no way is a bad thing.

Also Leslie, if I did in any way make you sad or angry, I truely am sorry.

What are you saying!?
for lack of a better way to say it without sounding TOO much like a *censored.1.1*,
lawliet = picking on you.

he has a point in focusing your life on one thing entirely, and variety is healthy (probably, lol). but he's going about it like an *censored.1.6*, and bullying you more than helping you.

as for the majority of that rant, it's already out of my mind. let me re-read and recap.

manga = pretty cool guy, but like everything, you'll get bored with it and find newer, fresher things. you'll still nostalgia about mangas you read/anime you watched when you were younger, but that does not mean you will "grow out of it" as that insinuates that it's a childish thing, and that matters in no way, if it's what makes you happy/what you enjoy doing.

ignore lawliet, besides the point that obsessing on one thing/making one thing your life =/= good. balance is key.

don't change yourself so quickly, or you'll lose who you are, and once that happens, UH OH.

lawliet should have gone about saying what he said in a better way, instead of speaking down as he did. it was easy because you were submissive/gave in so easily.. but that neither matters, nor makes it right.

OH GOD SPECTATIN GAEMZ
