But synesthesia don't work by looking/reading at a number/letter and thinking of a colour, it's that when automatically seeing a number/letter a color pops in your mind without even thinking.

ah well then it appears that i have been misinformed, but still the question remains

thats what I though too......

I was gonna say now that I saw those numbers and letters my brain thought too hard and nothing ended up coming to mind idk.

i don't associate any colors with any letters/numbers because i don't have synesthesia lol

ps from what i know, there are also two main types of synesthetes: those who project and those who associate. so individuals who associate are obviously those who just have this ingrained association of colors to letters/numbers or in whatever way their synesthesia manifests. projectors (fewer percentage of those with synesthesia are projectors) actually see/project the colors with those letters, for example, rather than just having a mental association. in one of my classes we discussed a case study of someone with synesthesia. it was pretty interesting but i don't remember too much whoops

edited out the Synesthesia part to not spread misinformation

Synesthesia is very rare, so most people can't look at those letters and numbers and associate it with a colour, only people with a certian type of synesthesia can, and they don't have to think about it, its an automatic thing. It's very interesting though, I've read a lot about it.

i dont associate colors with letters/numbers but rather with names. e.g the name Jordan always made the color brown pop into my mind for some reason

Purple
Brown
Yellow
Blue

I think this experiment is pretty cool :)

Edit: I forgot most people don't have Synesthesia... I actually do.

It also might help if you hide your answer in the first post so that people won't read it and have their answers influenced by yours OP.

Green
Yellow
Magenta
Cyan

I kid you not, I thought almost the same colors only 4 to me is blue, not navy blue. How funny!

I don't think of any colours when I look at letters/numbers. I do have synesthesia, but it only works with musical keys and colours (eg. C major is yellow).

Well...I actually have synesthesia so for the heck of it I'll tell you mine haha.

J is a sea foam sort of color
E is deep bluish green
4 is apple red
5 is goldenrod

When I was a kid I used to think everyone had specific colors associated with numbers and letters, and I didn't find out synesthesia was a thing until high school and my therapist at the time explained it to me. I think it's a fun little quirk. (:

green, blue, yellow, orange. just typed the first colors that came to mind, tried not to think much about it

i moreso associate singing voices with colors or textures though, not the kind to do so with words or letters. i find sensory association interesting, and it helps me comprehend things easier

orange, red, red, blue

I'd say I'm one to have synestethia, but not one where 2 or more senses combine
