What can I do with flowers I've picked?

So there's a difference between picking flowers and digging them up -- when you dig them up you remove the whole plant and can place it in another spot where it'll continue to grow. When you just pick the flowers, you can only place them in a vase. But can you turn them into seeds or anything in order to get more plants??

so far, if you just pick them they become crafting material.

you need the whole plant.

Also aside from crafting, they can be placed in singles or multiples in your home in a vase : ) But yeah I think those are the two uses. I saw someone also mention hair decor but haven't tried.

I know you can build a sort of flower crown with them, but I haven't unlocked any recipes yet for the flowers you pick. So they're just in my storage for now.
