What attracts you to a villager?

I love how we all are atttacted to different villagers for different reasons. Some of us love specific personalities, some particular animal species and some just like cutie pies or weirdos!

I find that I really respond to a villager who I can look at and suddenly know their 'story'. Like with Pancetti. When she first moved in unannounced I was pissed. I don't really go for pig villagers. But that mop of blond hair, those giant, gorgeous blue eyes and chubby little belly made me instantly 'know' her. She is enthusiastic, enjoys good food and while a larger girl, still loves to feel fashionable and girly. She is a tad standoffish at first, but once she warms to you, is your companion for life. She loves to visit one-on-one and is most comfortable just relaxing in her home with a cup of tea. That all just came out after five minutes with her.

So what attracts you to a villager?

Classy appearances, relate-able personalities, looks good with everyone else lol.

If I choose a villager, I go on their looks. I know it's shallow but that's all I have to go on and I don't usually have good random villagers. But sometimes I just connect to a villager. Like, the first the Purrl told me that we were going to get along like 2 straws in beet juice. I thought that was so cute. Of course now she's kinda repetitive so I'm going to have her move out but the first thing she said really connected to me . . .

Hard for me to say. But i do like cuties.
Some villagers dont necessarily look like i would like them much. But sometimes they just click with me.

Usually how they look gets me first, then their personality type. Species too. So, all three but different degrees of each lmao

I'm a sucker for cute villagers. Or villagers that remind me of toys that I had as a kid. Like Stitches and Maple. I had teddy bears that looked a lot like them when I was little. And Chrissy and Francine are the cutest things I've ever seen.

But Wolfgang is my favorite. He always has been, ever since I played the game cube game when I was 7. I loved how he started off mean and bully-like, but became your best friend, and even a bit over-protective once you played with him enough. And I love wolves. It's a family thing. My grandma's house is decorated with pictures and figurines of wolves. So majestic

I can't really say. I mean, I like some cute villagers and dislike others. I also like some of the less popular ones...and, again, dislike others. Personality doesn't have much to do with it. While I don't like smugs in general, there are a few who I get along with. Same with uchis. I'm the same way in real life. I don't know why I click with some, while others turn me off completely.

Graham. When I saw that plot on ten days after New Year, I just didn't know what to expect. I walk in on the 11th...
And I'm greeted with a Hamster. With glasses. He's likeable, but seems to want friends because he's being shunned for his "nerdy" personality.
He doesn't need to worry...I'll be his friend...forever.

I might be a weirdo, but from the appearance, I attracted to the villagers based on their main color
I love pastel colors, so you can say I adore Beau and Zucker at most, and turns out i like their personality too. Beau looks like a little brother to me, while Zucker was like my partner in crime.

oh and I like villagers with nice eyes too! like Gala, Pekoe, and Whitney

I think I only like unpopular villagers. I mean, some more popular villagers I'm fine with, but I don't particularly like any tier ones and most tier twos.
But then again, I really like uchis (Diva's bae and u cant deny it) who most consider to be ugly, so maybe I like ugly villagers but don't find them ugly? XD

I go based on looks and personality. Even if they're cute and they're a personality type I don't like, I don't really want to keep them in my town. Also past relationships I've had with them. Like Robin, she's been in my town since the very first Animal Crossing game released in North America, and she's always been my friend.
