I never really got the point of them in the game. I think most of them are weird/creepy looking and sounding. The only one I ever liked is the Wee Dingloid because it's really small and has a nice bell sound.

Tell us how you feel about gyroids.

I have always liked them, but after 4 games I'm pretty much over them. aside from occasionally making a new set for Club LOL I generally just sell them all.

I sell them all here on the forums because I don't like them. People tend to snap them up really fast from me because I only charge 10k each.

To be honest, I haven't even tried collecting them all for catalog reasons. I only have whatever ones I've ever found in the catalog and I'm not sure I'll ever bother trying to fill in the gaps of any I don't find.

I love their shapes and sounds since the first game :D
I love making music with them

TERRIFYING.

I've rented a museum space to incarcerate them. I only go in there when I've found a new one to throw in. That room needs a locking door.

In fact~ I kinda like those gyroids and I'm collecting them now :P I think they are kinda cute...well, at least for me~

I don't really like them personally :/
Not much of a use to me :B
But Filbert loves his gyroid xD He's been going on crazy that his gyroid looks like him xD

I love them :) Mainly because of the nostalgia surrounding them from when I collected them in past games such as Wild World, other than that though I haven't really had more than 1 in my house at a time in New Leaf

I like them. I think they are funny, and some are even of a colour that matches a room I have! The Brewstoids are my favorites, but the pink ones and the gold ones are really decorative.

Some sounds are really cool! And, iirc, the idea behind them was that they were buried with the dead as gifts and comfort and such is just sort of sweet, imo. I wish I could remember where I read that, or if it was Coach who told me. I know the AC world deviates from that idea a bit with some of them, but I think they are pretty cool. There are just too many to keep. If the museum rooms actually allowed you to FILL them and not count pieces before telling you that you can't add more I just may have decided to pursue the entire set.

As it is I finally sold all but my faves when Re-Tail had them on Premium. Still, they didn't sell for much. But at least I have them in my catalog if I am feeling nostalgic for the Gyroids Past.

They're alright. I gave them all to Brewster in Wild World but just sell them or give them to my villagers now.

For me all they do is make "The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing" more creepy AND make the music in my house better :)

I can't stand gyroids. I've tried to like them but I just never liked the way they looked. They are really creepy, in my opinion.

I never liked them, really. They're creepy and I rather have just a nice song playing in my rooms than one of them making noises. Because of that, I sell them if I find them, which isn't that often. I dunno, I can't figure out what exactly they're supposed to be in the first place (when I was playing WW when I was younger, I thought they weren' musical instruments but cactus-like plants making noises, haha - probably from playing too much Final Fantasy since some cactus enemies have similiar faces there). So yeeeeah. They creep me out. Especially the one on the island lending out the tools since he/she/it seems....kind of overly friendly. XD;

Honestly. I love them but there are WAY to many of them to possibly collect them all. I just wish the museum had a gallary for all the families of gyroids so I don't have to store them all away :(

I like them, but now that Brewster doesn't hold them for you (boo), I don't bother collecting them. I just keep the Brewstoids, because those are particularly great :)

A couple of sets I really like, and will use them in my house if they fit a room theme. But most are ugly or sound horrible. Also, like someone else said, after playing 4 AC games they've lost their novelty as items.

I managed to collect all but 10 of them in my old town and had them stored on a spare char, but now I've lost them I can't be bothered to go through that again. Though TTing 3 towns to get my dreamies for my new main has gotten me a ton of dig spots of them, so maybe when I'm done I'll see how many I've got.
