One of my favorite games of all time! I played it before spoilers were everywhere online so I played the entire thing blind. It was one of the most magical experiences I’ve ever had with a video game. The fun combat, charming writing, excellent music, unforgettable characters kept me coming back. I played through the game five times over the course of two years and took a break from burnout.
Last year a Discord server I’m on did a three part livestream where viewers were assigned different characters to voice act in the game throughout a casual of a pacifist run. I did Napstablook and Bratty. Doing the stream was almost like going through the game for the first time again and I developed a kinship for the characters I played. I’m thinking about getting a Napstablook tattoo from the artist who did my Cosmog as a way to preserve my time playing as the character. His personality and mine are also basically the same.
