Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if a thread like this has already been made but I was wondering what everyone's favourite holidays in ACNL were. I quite like New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. Since I sleep at about 8-9 pm and wake up at 5:30 I can't experience the countdown in real time but I always play it the next morning. I also love the zodiac animals and the items that Redd sells. I like Valentine's day because of how subtle it is. There are no big furniture sets to collect or annoying challenges to complete. You just get a few really nice letters to cheer you up in the cold snow. Then you go to Brewster's and realize that he made you a hot chocolate. It is such a small detail that you only notice if you are devoted enough to visit The Roost every day. I'm interested to know what your favourite in-game holidays are too.

I like Festivale, Harvest Moon Festival, New Years and the Fireworks show. I like events with fireworks. I love seeing the villagers look up and clap and cheer. Festivale is nice because of the falling confetti and feathers and everyone looks cute in their outfits.

Thanksgiving and Christmas! My irl favorite holidays and in-game.
Plus jingle is really cute so I can't tell him no lol.
All my villagers deserve their presents!

I'm actually not such a huge fan of the holidays in the game to be honest, but the one I enjoy most of
the time is the Festivale event, mostly because of Pav?.

My favorite holiday has to be Halloween. I can just stay home eating candy and playing this. Music is incredibly good and its always funny to see villagers in pumpkin heads.

Halloween is the only one I've done every year, so I guess that! I like trying to make little costumes for each of my play characters and running around with my friends in our towns, collecting a bunch of creepy skeletons and tombstones to stock up on because we all have at least one spooky room that needs more.

Festivale can be both really fun and really tiring really quickly lol, but I still enjoy it! I have pretty fond memories of my first time experiencing it, seeing and catching feathers for the first time, realizing you can wear them in your hair, all that stuff lol. I also experienced it for the first time after my cousin had just moved back from out of state and had come to visit! I ended up giving her most of the items I got, but she has them displayed in her mayor's house!

I'm also not really sure if it counts, but I love all the different snowmen you can build every winter, and especially love snowman bingo! I know it's not a holiday, but it does feel like a season-long event!

Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are my favorite holidays to play in New Leaf and they are also my favorite holidays in real life. I love dressing up and scaring my villagers on Halloween and giving Jack his candy, especially the lollipops. He just loves those lollipops. :P

Thanksgiving is a fun little event to participate in too. Finding the ingredients for the dishes can actually be fun if you prepared for it about a week before it starts. I love looking at the fun little dishes that Franklin makes. ^-^

Finally, Christmas (or Toy Day as it is really called) is fun handing out the presents that Jingle requests to you to deliver. Plus, getting my Santa costume ready for the event and dressing up in it is really fun too. I would totally wear the outfit for the rest of the year, all except for the beard of course. (I'm a girl, so it's weird wearing it XD)

I also love Festivale and Valentine's Day too. Festivale more because of the feathers. :)

I love Halloween because my villagers are so mischievous! I love the chaotic feel of it. It’s the only holiday I consistently make an effort to play every year.

Halloween is by far my favorite holiday both in game and in real life. I look forward to it every year. Jack is such a fun character and I love playing games with my villagers and scaring them. I love dressing up in different costumes and most of all I love the creepy furniture set.

I also like Festivale with all the confetti and flowers floating around town. The villagers look so cute in their little outfits. But I don't really care much for the Pave furniture, so that's the only downside.

Toy Day is another nice holiday in the game. I love dressing up as Santa and giving out presents to my villagers. I always feel good when I can make my villagers happy.

Totally Halloween, hands down. I almost didn't get to experience it the first time, due to working, but I'm glad I didn't miss it. (Admittedly, I had a little too much fun spooking villagers who had been irritating to me or their neighbors earlier in the month...) It's overall a fun and energetic event, and then I get to celebrate my birthday the next day, and so the fun continues! And Jack is such a unique and funny character, I can't help but love him when he visits.
Of course, Halloween is my favorite in real life, too, so I guess I'm a little partial to it :)

I think I enjoy Halloween, Christmas and New Years the most. I like seeing villagers running around with pumpkin heads it's both cute and goofy to me and I like seeing Christmas lights on cedar trees with the snow. I just wish a lot more was going on and villagers had more to say ti make the holidays even more enjoyable.

halloween: laugh if you want, but i actually get scared seeing my villagers run after me in pumpkin heads.
valentines day: idk, i find it cute that i'm getting gifts and stuff. it also fills the empty void of loneliness in my heart uwu
new years: avoids family gatherings to celebrate with a bunch of pixels
christmas: i feel horrible about giving my favorite villager something they hate. oh well :p

Halloween just feels the most interactive to me ! :) Christmas and Festivale are great too, but Halloween feels like there's more to do, and is the only one worth TTing back to keep it going.... Oh, and Easter and Thanksgiving are fun as well ! It gives me a lot of motivation to zone out and keep playing lol. Thanksgiving gives the best items for me.

I think I enjoy all of the major events, and for the minor Holidays---I don't dislike any ! Valentine's the sweetest and most memorable out of the minors though.

I think Toy Day has to be my favourite! The music is for Toy Day definitely one of my favourite songs of the whole series and Jingle is my favourite NPC (other than Cornimer). Dressing up in a santa suit and running around with the sack is so fun and I love seeing my villagers all happy when they get what they want <3. I also love that it's kind of more than just a one-day event, since you have to get the santa suit and find out what your villagers want ahead of time!

Hallowern just because the whole atmosphere Halloween creates is my favorite thing ever.

I like the first few days of April and the fireworks days in august. They're both pretty
