Well this happens every year, but nobody ever talks about Thanksgiving and everyone's minds go straight from Halloween to Christmas, so for the sake of at least acknowledging this holiday exist I'm making this thread. Now I know Thanksgiving isn't celebrated everywhere and from me just googling it, it's only celebrated in the USA and Canada, so for the sake of including everybody what are you thankful for? Personally I'm thankful that I have great friends that deal with me, that Pokemon Sun and Moon are out, and that school may be boring but it's at least really easy for me.
my beautiful mama, newborn son, amazingly wonderful and supportive boyfriend, all of our good health, my two kitties, the roof over our heads, the food on our table & the clothes on our backs. I'm thankful for a lot.
I really don't like Thanksgiving. I like the concept of giving thanks to the world for all it gives to us, but the way it is celebrated is something I don't personally agree with, but that's a whole other story for a whole other time.
I'm thankful for all the hardships I've gotten through this year. Never thought it mattered to anyone/anything that I was struggling, but when you come out the clear you realise something or other is looking out for you, and I'm very grateful for that.
I'm thankful that my dad got a triple bypass surgery without having a heart attack or stroke to know that he needed one (he was complaining about chest pain in the middle of the night, so my mom took him to the hospital). Also, he quit smoking!
I'm thankful for my family, my friends, the roof over my head, a house to live in, clothes, food, a mom and grandma who cooks delicious meals, an education, internet, television...and so many more.
I'm thankful that 2016 has been a year of change for me. My dad passed away (which was really difficult), I quit my crappy job, and I've had time to really think to the future about what I want to do. It's far from what I imagined at first but that's okay.
I'm thankful that my mom is awesome and we've been able to depend on each other this year. I'm thankful for my best friend being awesome and supportive.
My wonderful, endlessly supportive family that always makes me feel safe, my lovely cat, animals in general, Christ, surviving my car crash lol, the US military and those who sacrifice their own lives and freedoms to serve in it, my acceptance into UNT (really top notch university!), whoever invented Dr. Pepper, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, Frank Sinatra, my job, my friends and those who have taught me and shaped me into who I am.
