What are you afraid of?

I'm afraid of lots of things. I have a fear of the dark, and I'm scared of windows. The severity of this fear fluctuates every month or so. I'm also afraid of escalators, heights, insects (mainly crickets, bees, and butterflies), thunder, getting stuck (even if just crossing my legs), driving, crossing the street, and bananas. I am the wuss of the family.
Is anyone else afraid of these things? Anyone have any "odd" fears or normal fears? I'm curious to see what everyone else is afraid of.

Birds, spiders, and vomit. <-( and, as an extension, extremely drunk/sick people who are likely to throw up)

I am scared of the dark, sick people, being ill, spiders, insets, butterfly's(literally like when we were at a butterfly thing with loads of butterfly's, I was terrified).

Height, pitch black darkness, certain bugs *worms and beetles* I'm fine with spiders though. They don't scare me, but I don't want to get in touch contact with them and drunk people.

Airplanes, not to be in them but when they fly over very low, then I lay flat on the floor with my face down, stupid I know......

The dark (inside or outside), because you wouldn't see someone hiding in it until it's too late.
Losing the people/animals I care about. I've come to terms that I'll have to face this eventually in regards to family members, and with some of our pets getting older. I just fear losing them suddenly.
In-person social interactions. I have this massive anxiety about accidentally offending people, to the point where I most likely won't say anything if a waiter gets my order wrong or I get the wrong change in a shop. It doesn't help that my mouth tends to disobey my brain in these situations (so I say the wrong thing, or I say what I want to say in the wrong order, or even in the wrong tone (e.g. sounding angry when I'm not.))
Leaving my house. Now this isn't to the point where I am a shut-in. If I really have to do something (e.g. get groceries we urgently need, go to a dentist appointment, or go to work) or want to do something (e.g. something I saw advertised, volunteering at our local cat shelter and things like that), then I will leave the house. That doesn't mean I like doing it. I find myself overly nervous when I do.

I'd say those are the big four for me. I've got more, but they're pretty depressing.

I'm also scared of flying insects they freak me out flapping around my face and stuff when i'm trying to work.

Vomit, drunks, frogs, fish, jellyfish, crabs.

I would not last in a pub by the sea would I?

@StarMayor: I understand the fear of in-person interactions and the fear of offending people. I almost never speak up if something is wrong. I am pretty close to a shut-in, though. I only leave the house if absolutely necessary--normally because a family member is forcing me. It's been like this for 5 years now. The reason I'm posting on TBT is because it's an attempt to help me get over my fear; a lot of the time, even over the internet, I can get a little nervous. I hope we can both overcome our fears someday.

I'm mainly scared of bugs, heights, and people... People can be hurtful..

I'm afraid of dying.

I don't want to die. I don't want to experience the pain or how scary it'll be when I want to try to breathe but I can't. That last minute is too much of a struggle.

I seriously want to live forever. Forever & at this age, because I don't want to grow older. I want to experience life in 50 years, in 100 years and in 5000 years. I want to watch the world evolve and experience everything.
