What are the rules about villagers?

I was wondering, can you have a whole town of one species of villager? Can you have a whole town of, for example, just normal villagers?

I'm trying to work out who my dreamies are, so y'know :3

you can but if you're only gonna have 1 personality you HAVE to get it from the campsite or someone else.

You can, but the villagers have a lot of the same scripts. Normals will say a lot of the same things (as all the other types do), plus the PWPs come from different types of villagers.

i think they try to move a bit more often when you have the same personality type too. my double personalities ping me to move a lot more often than the single personality type.
