What are the most common beetles on the island?

What are the most common found palm tree beetles on your island? Personally, I find that I catch the most horned atlas/elephant beetles, followed by cyclommatus stags, Goliaths, rarely golden stags and I'll see a Horned Hercules maybe twice if I'm lucky on one trip. Just curious to see what others catch on their trips.

Usually I see cyclommatus and Goliaths most often, then horned atlas, then elephant, then golden/Hercules.

Even more often are wharf roaches. They're so common that I now have the queen of them living in my town. She's been undercover for awhile now, but the locals are starting to take notice...

I generally catch mostly cyclomatus stags my past 4 trips ive gotten exactly 7 golden stags each, but i hardly see horned hercules, actually goliath beetles are not very common either.

i see horned dynastids the most. are beetles more common in the winter? when i first started the game this winter, i saw so many bugs on the island, but now i only get them at night, and they respawn quite slowly. is that normal?

Yes. For palm tree bugs, they only spawn at night time from 5 pm to 6 am, if I'm correct. Its easier to find them if you remove all the flowers and normal trees that attract other bugs. You can also cut down some of the palm trees that don't spawn bugs as often, just be sure to leave some there. You also have to scare away warf roaches and hermit crabs as they count as bug spawns.

If you don't have any trees besides palm trees, I'd say they all spawn at an equal frequency.

It depends on if my player is having a very good luck day. On good luck days they catch a lot of the expensive ones.
Mostly I see a lot of the goliath beetles and put them in the basket. Once it full I do a couple of rounds and replace the goliath with expensive beetles.

So far I've had goliath beetle and golden stags at premium. So happy I had some goliath beetles in the basket from the night before.
