As stated, I'd like to know what I can expect on a day to day basis. I've been playing the game, but I'm very forgetful, so I'd like to keep a list of them so I can check each day. What I mean is stuff like fossils spawning, the bell rock, and others. The others part is what I need to know. Thanks in advance!

Well, first thing I do every morning is check the shops. When I was trying to upgrade the shops I'd buy everything in each of them. I don't do that now as all mine are upgrades but if yours aren't? I'd add it to your daily list.

Check every rock, eventually you'll remember which rocks are permanent in your town so it will be easier to spot which Rock has an ore inside.
There will be one ore rock and one money rock daily.

Shake every tree (except fruit unless you want to). There will be 2 pieces of furniture daily from the trees and the rest of them will have money or bees nests come out if them.

Generally there's about 3 or 4 fossils spawning daily. Be sure to just dig randomly behind buildings even if you can't see what you're doing as they do spawn there too.

Also, if you're wanting to get the pascal furniture, be sure to go diving for a scallop once a day and you should obtain the full set I no time :)

Don't think I've missed anything....

Oh you will also want to water any flowers you have and check for weeds. There will be about 3 or so weeds to pull daily.
Unless of course you turn on beautiful town ordinance, in which case there will be fewer weeds and watering your flowers won't be necessary

and even if your beautiful town ordinance is active, you should still water flowers you're trying to breed to speed up the hybrid process.

5 beehives spawn a day. if you get stung by bees, don't get medicine until all the bees are gone. you can despawn bees by saving and continuing, but i don't recommend it if you like to catch the bees like i do.

the bell rock usually holds 8,100 bells. the maximum is 16,100 bells, i believe. before hitting a rock, dig holes behind you so you don't bounce back and therefore can just keep mashing a until you get all the bells. you can also grow bushes where the holes would be, they also work as a barrier. (if that makes sense)

most stores open at 10 am, if that helps give you a good time to start up your town. the earliest, i think, is 7 am (t&t mart). you can enact the early bird ordinance to change this, but keep in mind you can only have 1 ordinance at a time.

Like the others stated... money rock, ore rock, fossils and check the shops for things you havent catalogued!

Once I open up my game, I like to check around and see whether there's a special villager in town.
Then, I would walk around town and dig up fossils/gyroids/bamboo shoots and hit ore rock and money rock.
After selling those that I don't need, I'll just head to the museum and have my fossils accessed, shop around on main street and give Shrunk his snack.
I would then walk around and water my flowers, write letters to my villagers and helping out villagers while farming for PWP suggestions.
If I have any new and nice new furnitures, I would just pop into my house and redecorate.
At night, I would just go to the island and catch bugs for cash.
That's basically the "routine" part of my day, but I definitely don't consider them as routine and mundane tasks,
because I enjoy doing every little part of it. <3

This isn't in chronological order and will probably repeat what others have said:
-Check for the money rock and ore.
-Dig up fossils/gyroids.
-Talk to all my villagers and assist them if needed.
-Check shops and buy/sell anything.
-Water flowers.
