What are sweet olives?

I've been in retail and seen a lot of items for sale that I don't recognize at all! What are sweet olives and where do you get them? Can my charecter eat them? So many questions, I'm so confused (new gamer).

You can eat sweet olives.... but only in real life. They're sold as bushes in New Leaf.

they're a type of bush, you can buy it from the store once it is in the green upgrade i think? where the gardening store and timmy and tommy's shop are in one building but in different rooms.

The sweet olive start is an orange flowered shrub. They start to bloom a little in early September.
If you love fall this would be a nice shrub with some orange flowers.
