what are some ways to get rid of grass deterioration??? (or a little bit at least)

What's confusing is the paths. In that article it states that the grass underneath the paths will not wear away but I've heard several people saying that's false.

...

So, which is it? xD

The grass underneath the paths wears away, it doesn`t help to protect it.

i don't think placing patterns prevents grass from deteriorating, but i do know if you don't walk on the deteriorated grass often, it grows back faster. also, go to the summer months where it rains a lot, like in june. that'll help.

I seriously hate to make people run around in circles, but I've taken looks under my frequently used paths and they're in good condition.

Trees and flowers can help. And remember that there are some patches that will never regrow.

i've actually noticed that too, in seattle, my first, main town. the paths i take most frequently don't seem to wear at all. S:

I don?t have grass under my frequently used paths, tell us your secret:lemon: Do you time travel?

Yes that is the reason, but I don?t time travel, so it?s no option for me.

ah. all i can really say is try to avoid the areas that are deteriorated, and plant flowers near it. do you have the beautiful town ordinance?

Sadly the beautiful town ordinance doesn?t help with the grass wear, I mainly walk on my paths so I only have the grass wear hidden underneath my paths.

does crossbreeding flowers along w/ watering them everyday + planting fertilzer around the holes help????? b.b

Well, I was playing several hours a day for 3 months and the grass wear in my town was terrible. Whole patches of dirt. My town was like a sand pit, and I NEVER dash. I was comparing to pictures I had taken weeks back and it was so noticeable. Also, I had placed PWP in places where I didn't want villagers to move and when I destroyed them to remodel my town they left great big patches of dirt as well. I tried planting flowers and watering them and didn't see a difference.

I had to practically stop playing for 3 weeks to see a grass re-growth. I was only playing for 5 minutes to speak to the villagers on bridges and check the shops. Nothing else. Then I took a stroll around town and it was much greener and I discovered lots of hybrids :)

So yeah, it takes time and you have to stop walking over the spots where you want the grass to grow back.

i was actually mainly referring to it because you won't have to water the flowers and walk on the deteriorated grass, counteracting the growth. the flowers should be able to help.

i don't think so penguins, i think that's mainly just for breeding hybrids. i would say watering them everyday would help, but i've read that walking on the deteriorated grass actually counteracts the growth. S: so, as long as you have the watering can that waters like, 3 spaces ahead of you i believe, i think the grass should grow if you're not directly walking over it. just try not to walk on it. also, if you timetravel, try to go to the month of june.

The best way to re-grow grass is to just not play for a few days. I know that can be tough(been there), but it's the only thing that really works.
