What are some of the little things that delights you about ACNL?
I thought this would be fun to get responses to ... As I play there are so many little things that make me enjoy the game! (Well Done, Nintendo!)
Like for instance (bad English, I know!)
I love the way my feet waggle when I'm sitting on the boat seat ...
I love the way I open the door and run inside the houses on the Island Tours ...
I love the way the light rims my face on night time boat rides with Kapp'n ...
I love the little skrrrttch when I'm running and change direction suddenly ...
I love the satisfying little skip, hop, and jump into my seat on the boat ....
I love the satisfying SWAK sound when I've netted a bug ....

OK ... There are SOOOO many more I could write, but what do you find delightful!?

I love how the seahorse rocks and has such a cute container. I love how the spider wiggles while the game describes your catch.
I adore how Brewster is shocked when a customer highly compliments your coffee. I love how Blathers freaks out when you donate a single bug.

To me, nothing beats the feeling of catching your first fish or bug in that current town.

I like stargazing irl as well as in acnl. I sometimes go to the Plaza between 7pm-2am and all I would do is stare at the sky and take it all in and enjoy it.

I like seeing Labelle smile. Ever since Let's Go to the City, she seems miserable. I mean, she's not getting as much for the stuff she sells, and, she used to sell stuff for a rather high price. It's funny because as you start buying more, she eventually begins acting nicer, which makes me feel good, because after all that Labelle's been through, knowing that her years of selling for often ridiculously high prices haven't been forgotten, makes her feel better about downgrading, and, despite it, she's determined to work her way back up to the top by the side of her sisters.

I love all of these too, but I must admit that the little dust puffs when I run are just precious! Also when it rains and you sploosh around and the ground is wet when you dig!

I absolutely adore the skies ... Just before nightfall, and I love my town all lighted up at night too!
I love my happy little villagers when they are bopping along and whistling too!

I agree! The skies are done beautifully! The shooting stars too .... And the kind of dusty pink glow just before nightfall ... Really very well done!

I agree with you on this! One rainbow itself is beautifully done, but DOUBLE rainbows!?! Truly beautiful! I have taken quite a few pictures just because I love them so much!

I love the different colors of the sky. Tonight I had a peach and golden yellow colored sky, it was absolutely gorgeous. I also love the little footprints that characters leave in the mud. I was visiting a friend's town today, and when his bird villager walked through the mud it left little bird foot prints behind. So cute!

I also like swinging my axe at nothing in particular and watching my mayor stumble around with the "o_o" expression.

Also the squelching sound effect when you cut down a tree in the rain.
