What are some good Japanese Characters?

What do you mean specifically by Japanese characters?

Do you mean villagers with looks and/or houses that are Japanese-themed? Kabuki, Snake and Genji come to mind. Ken and Walt both have Japanese themed houses. Hmm, I can't think of any girls!

Since this is in the New Leaf section, I'll assume you mean characters. I've compiled a list of for sure Japanese-style characters for you.

-Annalisa (traditional makeup, shaved eyebrows)
-Kabuki (based on old Japanese theater style called "kabuki" where they wear scary makeup and masks)
-Gladys (based on a Japanese crane)
-Greta (traditional makeup, shaved eyebrows)
-Zucker (based on a Japanese octopus dumpling treat "takoyaki")
-Genji (traditional makeup, shaved eyebrows)
-Snake (based on a ninja, a Japanese warrior class)

Here's a list of ones that wear Japanese-style clothing and/or have Japanese-style houses, so it can be assumed that they're Japanese.

He's similar to Cousteau, except Cousteau is Chinese-based instead of Japanese.
