One could argue WarioWare (especially WarioWare Gold), but that's kind of cheating as it has the same artist as the Rhythm Paradise series. (Gold even has a microgame based on Rhythm Paradise!)
There's also A Hat in Time, an indie 3D platformer with an adorable protagonist (and an even adorabler 2nd player protagonist, if you're playing splitscreen) - although the game's content, while cute, can be a bit... unnerving at times. I mean sure, overthrowing the mafia and making movies with birds is all well and good, but then you get to Queen Vanessa's manor and suddenly the game turns into a stealth horror game. Thankfully it's only for one level, but geeze.
I also quite enjoy a relaxing city-builder game called Stonehearth - it basically has you make a small village from basically nothing (think kind of like games like Banished or Dwarf Fortress, but not as complex). The art style and music really make this game, though. The little workers are adorable and there's some surprising depth in the building system.
There's also Monster Hunter: Stories, which is an RPG loosely set in the Monster Hunter universe. I can't go too much into detail as I'm actually not that fond of RPGs (especially turn-based ones), but MAN if I don't love that art style. The characters and even monsters look super adorable, I just wish it was literally any other genre.
*rubs my hands together* did somebody say games with cutesy artstyles
> pop'n music
> puyo puyo
> monster hunter stories
> persona q, there's actually a sequel coming out in a year or so
> kirby and yoshi games in general
> bubble bobble
> stardew valley
> starbound to an extent
^^^ definitely puyo puyo!!!
i'd also like to add magician's quest: mysterious times. it's very much animal crossing inspired and i couldn't figure it out entirely but the style is adorable
